Hi Scottish - First I want to thank your for your in depth tutorials on how to be successful with options wheel trading. I'm retired and my wife recently went into a nursing home, which means I suddenly need a way to double the income from my nest egg savings to pay those bills. It appears that trading options is a viable way to do that and the wheel strategy in particular can tilt the odds in your favor. As a newbie it's wonderfully helpful that you share the benefit of your experience.
I have read many of the posts you made over the past several years. You often mention keeping 50% in cash and I have to say that even after you answered questions about this I still don't understand why. Is this the cash that collateralizes the CSPs? Or is this a separate - i.e. additional - bucket of cash that sits there as an emergency fund? We've all been taught that it's a good idea to keep a few months worth of living expenses in cash or similar safe/liquid assets, but any excess over that could be put to more productive use. Can you explain the rationale behind your 50% cash holding in a bit more detail?
BTW I'm looking for about 15% average return and am willing to commit 30% of my portfolio to the wheel strategy. From everything else I read this should be achievable unless there's a total meltdown.

I decided to post question in Ayahuasca reddit even though topic is about Mapacho dieta, as I assume here may be most of the people knowledgeable about this topic.
QUESTION: is that apart of nasal administration of Rape in powdered and liquid form, does anybody have some safe tips for slightly increasing amount of liquid rape, as experiences with covering some parts of the skin with Mapacho liquid before sleeping or even during the day? I assume it is still in safe framework, but I would like to hear it from someone with firsthand experience. I'm also open for any other types of use even as a tea, if there is generally safe microdose to say. Chewing?
I don't have high expectations of anything mind blowing and profounding, (apart from everyday experience of wonder of existence :D) even though smallest novelty moments may lead to something necessary, something of big importance for further walk.
MY EXPERIENCE:
Unfortunately as I'm unable to have professional dieting under supervision of Tabaquero, (no prior dieting experience) I was planning to go for a 2 weeks dieta by myself in raw nature environment where I've already prepared place. No salt, sugar, meat, sexual satisfaction, fats, social contact. Just keep it simple, rice in the morning and some lens for dinner to heighten my senses as to alter mind state. Also taking dream diary, frame drum as drawing materials.
Intention is to deepen/ potentiate relationship which I already have with this plant, to let it sink deeper into my mind and body in 2 weeks time. Potentially longer, depending on intuition/ message of the plant spirit.
I'm aware of life threatening dangers of tobacco purge, even under "Shamans" who weren't skilled enough, so to make it clear that is not what I'm aiming for.
In the last 2 years I've been building I would say good relationship with Tobacco through very ritualistic usage of Rape, and rolled Mapacho. (I no longer smoke, it also gave me profound experiences in meditation, as strength to some degree and protection)
Other day (before sleep) I made some liquid "rape"(very low dose- diluted one third of a pinch left overnight and I just had that indescribable sensation in dream of Mapacho spirit becoming one with me, while starting to do some deeper cleansing processes which I took as sign that it's time for more dedicated approach)

Did I not clean well enough? I did a deep water change, scrubbed the sides of the tank (not really past the gravel though), scrubbed the decor and additional supports (filter, heater), rinsed the filter, etc.
The tank is a ten gallon with one betta, two live plants, a filter, heater, flower decor and small porcelain decor, gravel and Fluval Stratum.
I do condition my tank with Tetra EasyBalance, Jungle Start Right, and Tetra AquaSafe for Bettas.
Beginner fish owner here so any help is appreciated!

Thinking of visiting the park but I need glasses to the extent if I wasn’t wearing them I would need someone to help me board the ride as I wouldn’t be able to see.
Google recommends I get a sports strap but this doesn’t look like something I can take on and off, do people walk around all day with a strap on their head? Do they work to keep glasses secure?
Are there lockers to leave glasses on the big rides? I am unsure if being on the coasters not being able to see where I am going or what is happening is a good idea or not?
Any tips from others that wear glasses and are unable to see more than half meter in front of them without them?

I am a local resident (so please don't downvote me) who living with another person (like everyone else, amirite?) and I'm trying to find a place of my own, even if it's in a trailer park. It seems the office manager there is hard to reach (a neon red flag). Tell me, is Baywood a bad place to live?
The Google reviews are relatively positive, and I'm a fan of the area that it's in, but based on my impression of Baywood's staff so far, I'm beginning to wonder if I should be grateful for unanswered prayers. Thoughts?

We purchased a project house roughly a year ago, and while we've made many repairs and upgrades...a list remains. The projects range from electrical issues (no outlets are grounded and certain switches aren't connected properly), to minor plumbing needs (both front and back hose spigots failed and need replacing), and finally needing a new front door. There are plenty of other issues but those affect our daily lives.
We've tackled as much as we can, but a new baby means now calling professionals. My question is how many of the aforementioned projects could safely be completed by a handyman/jack of all trades? I't's been our experience that an electrician, plumber, and a door installation from a box store would be extremely difficult to schedule and get done in a timely fashion. As we've been searching for pro services, a ton of people and local companies show up advertising a wide variety of services. I absolutely intend to pay someone a fair price for completing this work, but I don't want to hire someone falsely claiming to have these skillsets. Is it best to just wait on the limited availability of specialists, or are these simple enough projects that anyone can accomplish them?

I’m setting up my pc for the first time. I am not that smart and didn’t move the metal thing that you put the cpu in and put the cpu on top of it… then put my cooler on. Safe to say the cpu is stuck on my cooler and I’m not sure what to do without harming it. Do I have to buy a new one??

Just got into an argument with someone, resulting in me leaving a discord server that I really enjoyed. BSN grad 2021. Started as a new grad in a Neurosurgical ICU (Level 1), I just hit my 1 year mark there last March.
Usual patients are brain bleeds (nontraumatic), ischemic strokes, surgical brain tumors, status epilepticus and some uncommon ones such as MG, GBS, NPH, donor patients etc.
I’m comfortable in my reports, interpreting VS & lab values, drip titrations, assisting docs in bedside procedures, immobile pt bed changes (haha the last one being the steepest learning curve for me)*
My weakest points would be IV insertions, being assertive, and patient education.
I like my unit right now but I’m interested in applying to the Air Force or the Navy because I want to explore possibilities, move away, have financial stability, and eventually get further schooling.
Are ICU RNs in demand in these branches? How is day to day work like? Will I have support to be safe and be competent? Pros and cons?
Or should I wait and get more experience? Get my ccrn? Or should I travel?

Is there resident housing parking in north lot for people living in North, E, and Quad? I was told by RPI parking that North Lot is a faculty/staff lot and I can’t park there.
