Looks like I’ve been very lucky the first 3.5 years of my sons life, as we never experienced any big tantrums, fights etc.
For the last three weeks this has changed. He has been aggressive and upset and resists a lot of things (washing hands after a wee, not wanting to go upstairs to bed). I thought this is part of his development, as he is testing boundaries, so everything is being handled calmly and by trying to explain why certain things need to be done.
Today however, we had our first ever BIG tantrum… at Lidl, because I refused to buy him a magazine for older children that literally did not serve any purpose (obvs he can’t read). I tried to show him some other toys, but nothing seemed to work and he screamed and cried like the world is going down. So I grabbed him and left the supermarket. More crying and angry screaming in the car and even at home. Until we calmed down and had a cuddle and I explained again why the magazine was of no use and how crying is and being upset is ok, but screaming and shouting is not. He seemed ok after that. But we probably had at least 3 more instances where he was very stubborn (“wear you choose when you walk on the construction site in the garden”). Then again, just before he was supposed to have a shower he opened the oven (a no, especially when it’s on). I told him not to, as it is dangerous and he got upset and said…. “I don’t want you to live in this house”. That made me very sad. Obvs I didn’t say anything to that, just that it’s hurtful and that we love each other and saying mean things is not ok.
Basically… what is going on? Someone tell me if something must have changed in his surroundings, or is this developmental? Have I handled things wrong in the past and it comes hunting me? I’ve been very much influenced by AP.

Hello! love robotics and for the past 6 months I've been only thinking about prototypes and circuits. Not long ago I also won first prize at a robotics contest ona project worked on all by myself, in less than 2 months... It wasn't easy to fund my project, in fact, my family and I made huge sacrifices to make all of this possible (reason for which am incredibly thankful for their help), and now, after obtaining results to show I want to work, well, NOTHING happened.
I wasn't expecting anyone or my high school to come and aid me with funds, nor anyone giving me equipment to continue my research, but feel like be on pause for a really long time (months). This is because, as said, most of the funds we had went on our previous award-winning project, and there's nothing left in our family's budget to support any robotics prototype... also don't feel good asking them for components anymore...
We live in Romania, and if you want to get financial aid for anything as a highschool student (<18), you have 2 options:

1. Ask the Highschool for support, and you may or may not receive something, BUT, whatever you make, will become the highschool's property, which, if you work hours and hours every single day is surely not an option would take
   
2. Ask your parents to make a non-profit organisation which can receive donations/sponsorships and go ask multiple companies to support you until eventually you find someone.
   

And this is exactly what we did (except for the sponsors search, we haven't contacted anyone yet since we have no association), but in Romania the time it takes to create any association is absurdly big... won't get into politics, but the main problem we have is that there will be something like a judge holiday lasting from July to September in which (as far as I know), no company/association can be created... And our association is nowhere even near being finished, so our odds to have it done by July are minimal, which means our odds to receive sponsorships are alsso minimal
To make matters worse, my next robotics competition have will be in late autumn, and what wanted to make (an animatronic for civilian use, won't get into details) requires at the very least 5K €.. Not to mention such a project would be ideally begun as soon as possible.. will take part at any costs, as I've been there once before, and it was my greatest humiliation...
But now it could be different! want to work, to develop myself, to learn more, and NOT by just sitting down and reading from a book!
My question is: What would you do if you were in my situation to continue the research and find funds for the next project? Are there any European funding opportunities or ways we could get the financial aid? Maybe not on my name, but on one of my parents'? It should be possible to do this without an association/non-profit organization. And also.. A way that is as fast as possible? wanted to start working on my animatronic by the end of June.
Staying all day and writing down sketches or making PCB schematics feels good but ONLY if also get my hands into a circuit. My stocks of everything are at an all-time-low (resistors, ICs, mosfets, etc) and no matter how much I try to learn extra theory (electronics, mechanical engineering, cad design..) feel like it's all worthless without ACTUALLY building the thing, or working on a component that will go into it!
Do correct me if I'm wrong with any of the legal facts mentioned above. That's what know about the current laws in our country.

Hi, I'm in need of a "convenient" dock that can work with 3 different Macs, I'll explain the situation
I'm a software engineer that is currently working with 3D and simulation projects and due to the need of some software my current equipment are a thinkpad (with it's proprietary connector) and desktop PCs for windows and linuxAnd right now I'm on the transition to other projects which due to company standards are to be developed on Mac devices (they don't really need to be on mac), so, they will be changing my devices and will start by giving me a Macbook Pro 16" 2019, since that's what is available in the devices stock at the time, they already made the request to buy a Mac Mini M2 and a Macbook Pro M2 13" for me, but those are going to take time due to the budget approval process, likely 3 monthsSo I'm in need for a thunderbolt dock that I can use currently with the 2019 macbook and then later with the other 2, I need to be able to connect 2 1440p displays at the same time and a 4K (standalone), 1 USB A port and 1 USB C port, the USB C doesn't need to be thunderbolt, It will be used only to plug a KVM with a mouse and keyboard and for the usb A port, usb 2.0 speeds are fine
So in summary I need a dock that can work with a macbook pro 2019 and M2 and mac mini and has at least the following:

• 2 HDMI ports capable of 1440p and 4K (60z or 120hz)
• 1 USB A port (2.0 is fine)
• 1 USB C (it's also fine if it doesn't have USB C but will need an aditional USB A)

And has a reasonable price, since the company will not pay for the dock because I have already used all my equipment budget for this year (the OLED monitors are amazing c: )

This is extreme oversharing but I need to tell someone the whole thruth. Im 20.

It's called Comfort Zone Camp (based in Virginia, but we have camps in other states).

Volunteers typically bring their own hygiene items, sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, etc. and that's it! We provide lodging and meals.
If anyone is new and interested in helping, we require attending an orientation and passing a criminal background check. Children's safety is important, and multiple adult volunteers and staff will be present (in other words, no child is ever alone with an adult).

· You reflect on, and learn from, setbacks and errors. You arrive at a balanced view of these and develop clear plans to learn and continue growing. People often repeat the same errors over and over, whether it’s overspending or choosing a partner. People have a strong tendency to repeat their behaviours. But you can choose to respond differently – and achieve different outcomes
· You’re clear on what you want – and why. Knowing what you want is the second key step in getting it (knowing who and what you are is the first). Knowing what you want differentiates you from those who aimlessly floating through life.
· You use time wisely. We all have 168 hours each week and the choice on how to use them. You focus on what is important, within the context of who you are and what you have chosen to achieve. You have the habit of asking yourself what is the most effective thing you could be doing right now.
· You’re making consistent progress. Consistent progress is a great sign. Even when your goals feel far in the distance, regular progress – driven by consistent effort and learning – will get you there. As well as planning what more needs to be done, reflect on how far you have already come.
· You’re not alone. There are many people are alone in the world. If you’re not alone, you’re doing better than many others.
· You’re committed. You know who you are and what you’re about. Your goals are clear. They create meaning for you, value for others and legacy for the future. Great things happen when your purpose and your environment align.
· You consider other’s opinions. You learn what is resourceful to you and discard what isn’t. You live your life, not theirs.
· You are grateful. You regularly reflect on what has gone well and – crucially – on why it has gone well. You have skills and strengths you don’t even realise.
· You’re authentic. You know you values and beliefs. You make your decisions and take your actions consistent with these.
When you’re clear on what you have chosen to accomplish, and you’re spending your time wisely, you’re doing well – and better than most! This is true, even if the results have yet to reveal themselves.

I am a volunteer coordinator for a non-profit that organizes free, grief/bereavement camps for children, age 7 - 17, who lost a parent, sibling, or other loved one/family member.
It's called Comfort Zone Camp (based in Virginia, but we have camps in other states).

We offer camps in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Utah, and West Virginia.
The camps usually are Friday afternoon (arrive around 2:30-3:00pm) until Sunday afternoon (about 3:00-3:30pm.)

Think of it like a summer camp where school children go and stay in cabins...so we usually use established/developed venues. Cabins with bunk beds, restrooms with flush toilets, sinks with running water, showers, a dining room where the kitchen staff prepares meals, etc.
Volunteers typically bring their own hygiene items, sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, etc. and that's it! We provide lodging and meals.
If anyone is new and interested in helping, we require attending an orientation and passing a criminal background check. Children's safety is important, and multiple adult volunteers and staff will be present (in other words, no child is ever alone with an adult).

Hello everyone, I am currently writing my thesis regarding sponsorship in the motorsport industry.
