My grandma died the day before my moms birthday, January 28th, 2023. We spent Christmas in the hospital.
I'm struggling. We all are. I love my Nanno. She was too young but ya know.. not. Old people get sick but I was really thinking she would get better. She did for a short while but then it was back in the hospital. First the room with no windows. That was horrible. Then the big room with the windows. that was nice but her bed was facing the wrong way so she couldn't look out the window. I really hated that she couldn't look out the window. They (nanno/papa) built a whole addition to their house so that everything was windows. At the end, in hospice, we moved again. This room had windows and we would wave to her window even though she was stuck in bed. By then, she was sleeping most of the days.
I really cannot be left alone with my thoughts, they always manage to drift to nanno. I lived six minutes from their house. I would just pop over, she was always home.
Everyone was there, in the hospital, when she left us. What's wild is the whole day was crazy. Cousins flying in, picking up someone, dropping them off. Hushed conversations. I should have known. They were talking about at home hospice and only being on hospice for a couple of weeks before she got better. I was planning on her coming home. I was planning on her opening her eyes one more time. I was planning but I should have known. I had to go pick up my sister and literally the moment we walked into the room, she left. I think she was waiting on us.
I hate being old enough to know all the details. Heart attack, sepsis, hearts beating too slow or too fast, bed sores.. I'm old enough to need to comfort my mom and my grandpa and my sister. My sister (22), she says, sometimes I forget, ya know, why i'm sad, why the emotions are so high. I just nod because it's always on the back of my mind. Everything reminds me of my nanno. I spent the majority of my childhood raised by that women and now her phone number is disconnected. All the memories I have are of my nanno and I miss her so much.
She's been the one constant person through out my entire life (I'm 29). I've lived in all these places but she is what I would call home and when I would call home. Visiting from my adventures to regal her of my stories, the good and the bad. It wasn't always smiles but that's just life. and now she's gone. I hope she's in heaven, or where ever she wants to be.

May 21st, 2022 - I realized I had only received miles for my plane flight, not received any miles for my hotel stay. I thought that was strange and so I filed a ticket. Ticket number 41050338 - KMM119735942V89783L0KM.
Jul 3rd, 2022 - I heard nothing back, I called into customer support. I was advised to file another ticket and wait a while as it can take some time to process the requests. Ticket number 41699049 - KMM121293837V81019L0KM.
Jan 18th, 2023 - Again, I had heard LITERALLY NOTHING, I called once again. On hold for 23 minutes, transferred to Delta Vacations, on hold for 46 minutes, transferred back to delta, on hold for 1 hour and 13 minutes. Feb 15th, 2023 - Again, I heard LITERALLY NOTHING. I submitted another support request. I am once again told "We have forwarded your request to our hotel liaison for review." Ticket number KMM127836111V7465L0KM.

May 17th, 2023 - I call once again, on the phone for 38 minutes, the customer service rep phone disconnects. I call back, on hold for 42 minutes, I am assured that I should call back in 2 weeks and "We have forwarded your request to our hotel liaison for review" and it will surely be handled this time. Today, June 8th 2023 - I call again, on hold for 49 minutes. I am told they cannot just give me the miles, and that I should submit a comment/complaint on the website and wait to hear back.

Is this actually a fucking joke? At this point, it isn't even about the miles, its about the principal. I have spent HOURS of my life trying to get 10k miles THAT I PAID FOR. I have 10 support tickets, I have talked to 7 different people, and I have gotten nowhere. And I apologize for the tone of this but I have been kind and patient for over a year and the best I got was "make a complaint".
This is insane right? Like someone please give me a sanity check. Am I being outrageous here?

Hi all :)
I had my medical abortion at home yesterday. Wow. The pain I felt is like nothing I've ever felt before. Still cramping slightly today but a lot better - I thought it would never end! Whilst I am relieved, I just have this overwhelming sense of upset and feeling down about the whole situation. I only told my best friend and partner - not my Mum who was at home when I did it. I feel bad that I didn't tell her, I just said I was having painful cramps (hard to disguise though when you are throwing up!). My paranoid brain is also telling me it hasn't worked...
Just a lot of different emotions right now. Did everyone who has undergone this process feel like this? I've read through previous posts and obviously everyone is different, but I just feel so empty and strange :(

I’m happy to take this down if it isn’t allowed. Even my therapist hasn’t been able to help me find a long-standing solution to this. Im wondering if anyone else experiences this and maybe has a good starting off point to understanding this issue more.
I do not know how to relax. I keep thinking I’m wasting my life and could be using the time I’m relaxing better. I can see this being a reasonable approach if I’m regularly sedentary, but I’m a very active person. I have 4 part time jobs, and can go 7am-1am several days a week. I don’t have hobbies that are just for fun, they have to add value to my life—like crafts I can sell, gardens I can harvest, exercise to make me stronger, or only books and documentaries that expand my knowledge. Trying to relax for a day will make me very, very nervous.
My therapists have all told me to start meditating and develop skills for being present in the moment, but I have never been able to convince myself I’m allowed to chill. I can easily see myself working to the point of injury, burnout, or to the point where it damages my mental health further.
Is this something I can fix, or is this just a personality trait? Does anyone else have experience with this feeling? How did you manage it?

I usually only read and not post but I've been cracking my head trying to figure out what this ISTJ male is saying so I really need your help.
Long story short, I have been talking to this ISTJ male for almost 2 months, we started chatting on a dating app. We only started hanging out two weeks ago (I had an injury that's almost healed so I can go out now).
So yesterday, I tried asking him if he wanted to hang out again this weekend and he said "is it fine if we don't meet actually?" and said sorry. I checked with him if its because he's not interested in seeing me anymore. He responded saying no and that he had fun when we hungout. Then said "maybe he just needed a bit more recharge time personally this week".
This is that part I don't understand...I'm an IXXJ as well and I understand needing recovery time but I feel recharged meeting people I like...esp if I like them romantically. So his response is basically telling me that he feels drained meeting me and probably indicates to me he actually doesn't like me that much. Also why did he say "is it actually fine" and "MAYBE he needed a bit more recharge time". If if was me I'd just say "I need to recover this week, can we meet next time?'...why does he have to use such uncertain language almost as if he is doesn't know what he is doing over the weekend. Sorry I know I tend to overthink and its true I can't stop my brain from doing this but I try to stay rational.
I got back to him saying "thanks for letting me know" and "hope he'll feel better over the weekend" and he responded saying "thank you and sorry again"...so...why is he saying sorry??
Also, we've been chatting every night for two months and what I don't really understand is....he's great at responding and keeping the conversation up but even if he is online, he'll wait 10-30mins before responding to my texts. Which, for a while its fine then it just starts feeling a bit annoying and if I am tired, I'll just head to sleep. There's never a consecutive conversation on text but when he hung out he'll do things that show he cares like putting the menu in my direction (so he reads upside down 🤦‍♀️), paying for our meal, asking me if I'm okay when I appear tired or looking somewhere intently, sending me (halfway) home when we met near his place...so if seems like he's interested but throughout the weekday I start doubting myself again.
I felt pretty sad after these texts and honestly think I should cut my losses short if my interpretation of what he is saying is right...its affecting my sleep and I tend to work with fixed schedule so anything that messes this up will really affects me. If he's not interested in me I will start to retreat.

60% of murkies i see go Q build, it is the most popular one (despite it being his WORST build IMO, but this is not about that)
30% of murkies i see go E build, it is less popular but starting to become respected as it is very legit survivability and macro potential.
10% of murkies have no idea what the builds are and just go silly stuff like time to krill into rejuv bubble and wrath of cod into making inky.
(not gonna count meme build as even though it is funny, i don't think anyone actually mains that build)
but there is one pretty solid build that i see NO ONE do and that is auto attack build. (0-3-3-0-3-1-0) on the surface it looks like just slime build but with a weird 4 and 7, but it is actually very different in how it plays.
ill walk you through the basic theory of the build because i think it is completely unknown for the most part.
the first talent in the build is living the dream, its actually really interesting as the spell power effect works as a hybrid between the macro of tuffer fish and the team fight of slime quest and in some niche ways it actually performs better than the other 2 in those regards despite it being a hybrid, on the macro side of things it can work the way tuffer fish does (W > Q > mostly cleared wave) once it hits 10% spell power, which is almost immediate and once you get to level 7 and being at 25% spell power you can simply (W > mostly cleared wave) as the spell damage is not reliant on you casting slime and around level 11 you get to where the W will even one shot warrior minions with the spell power which while you usually can spare to walk over and Q as well, it is nice and for macro it actually slightly surpasses tuffer fish as it effects not only your W but your Q as well, in testing i have found that this level 4 on giants it saves you 2 entire seconds compared to tuffer fish (and 5 seconds compared to slime quest...) its nothing as crazy as letting you solo a bruiser at 4, but it is still relevant how it is better.
as for its combat hybridization it gives you 74 bonus damage on Q > Q which is only half as much as with slime quests 125 but for several reasons, this is better than it appears and ill list them out sequentially.
1 : you get it immediately and don't need to complete slime quest; while living the dream *technically* has a quest, assuming you stay alive it will be fully complete by about the time you hit level 5 which is a incomparably better speed to slime time.
2 : it effects your W still; your W does not come into play in every fight but it his highly relevant for octo combos and the odd zoning puffer fish that gets ignored.
3 : it effects the damage of your FIRST Q; this does not matter often, but the spell power boost increases the damage of your first non boosted Q as well which is kinda niche but can sometimes come in clutch for a kill under towers where you can only get 1 slime off before they are in the gate.
4 : combos with time to krill; will talk about time to krill more specifically a bit later but suffice it to say increasing its damage by a straight 25% is solid.
(really like this 4, even outside aa build iv been trying to incorporate it into a hybrid E/AA build, which is kinda untested but has decent theory even if it has not worked that great in the few games i tried it)
but alas that is enough of the 4 now onto the 7 : time to krill.
the basic idea of this 7 is that you sacrifice some of the utility of kiting for just RAW damage and stickiness, and the damage is actually pretty good, baseline it makes each aa deal 28 bonus damage which is alright if not crazy and living the dream bumps it up to 35 bonus damage per AA and now your getting into the territory of having a actually pretty good auto attack instead of the normal murky AA which is basically useless but that you might as well use. (murky base AA is only 62 so 35 bonus damage is a more than 50% damage increase on it and puts it up with real hero AAs like mei or anub) but another highly relevant part of this 7 is the slow, not only is it straight up by 5% the superior of slime times slow (30% slow vs 35% max slow) which is great cause you did not pick that talent, but splitting your slow between your Q and the AA gives pretty good utility as for example if your Q is still on a 3 second cooldown but someone low hp walks past you, you have the opportunity to AA them twice and apply a slow that is good enough that you can chase them down (its a 14% slow for 2 aas) and apply your slime slow and then go in for a kill and even though the damage is done through a DOT which is not usually how you want to be dealing your damage, it generally does not bite you in the ass as it is not your primary damage source.
ill take this mid section to compare octo combos damage potential as 99% of the time octo is required even though i do love when im able to take march. (also i decided to differentiate on whether or not you get the slime off after the combo as even though you usually can, you sometimes cant and its not really part of the true combo) [the combo is Q > W > R if you dont play murky and have read this far along for whatever reason]
in Q build (0-1-1-2-3-1) (Q build can tbh take slime AA or fish oil so ill list both those variants)
the combo deals : 1045 damage (1451 with second slime)
in Q build 2 (0-1-1-2-3-2)
the combo deals : 1451 damage (1969 with second slime)
in E build (0-2-2-2-1-2)
the combo deals : 1822 damage (2103 with second slime)
in AA build (0-3-3-2-3-1)
the combo deals : 1165 damage (1657 with second slime)
as you can see E build octo is still king and AA build octo is actually kinda middling, dealing less damage than Q build that goes fish oil, but i think it was important to discuss this with science numbers instead of vague statements. (although AA build will often get a bit more damage out just due to there usually being time to krill stacks on the target and the general sticky playstyle)
i don't think i need to explain fish tank, it works just the same as in Q build the only difference is AA build does not kite as much so life steal is even more important. (even though Q build "technically" gets 15~more life steal from their Q, in reality this just almost never matters, if anything AA build boosting W life steal matters sometimes vs anti heal)
16 is when the build really comes into its own just like in any murky build, if you have played Q build variant 0 you known how powerful this 16s playstyle is, but in AA build it is even better; kinda hard to describe but time to krill + slime AA deals substantial damage;

onto 20s; all of them are actually good in this build.

• big tuna kahuna is amazing if there is a nova or zera that one shots you before you can start life stealing vs them. (id even call it essential in that situation)
• making inky i feel is the most situational of them all as already few heroes can withstand you in a 1v1, but if you dont need more tank and the ult upgrades dont make sense in the matchup, you might as well pick it as it is more damage.
• and a shark too is actually really interesting as the spell power from living the dream 4 actually effects it and you can get pretty spicy kills with it as now the octo combo deals 2694 damage (3061 with second slime) which if you scroll back up to the octo comparisons section, is a EXTREME amount of damage relative to what you had before. (even though levels do corrupt it slightly, this test was of course at 20 while the others were at 16, but 4 levels does not double your spell power lmao)
• infinite murlocs is actually super crazy in this, march already deals surprising damage and again, the spell power from your 4 effects it which basically makes you have supreme god levels of damage while you are casting this; of course its only weakness is that you miss out on octo by getting march 10, which is just throwing in most comps.

now lastly i guess i should talk about its obvious Achilles heel, you lose the stacks on death; this is not as bad as it sounds as the stacks come back super quickly and if you are feeding to the absurd level that you consistently have below 25% spell power, that's a you problem; murky is super survivable, especially post 13. (if this is actually the case tho, just do E build until you get more comfortable it gives you basically get infinite survivability)
although it is annoying that you lose the spell power at kinda the worst time, as when you respawn you generally just super extended fight and want to return to laning; but its really not the end of the world to Q > W waves for a rotation and you get the stacks back pretty fast. (its only really bad if you die like a idiot at level 5~ then you lose alot of power and gotta Q> W > Q waves, but you should not really be doing team fights that early anyway unless its braxis)

TLDR ; the build is (0-3-3-0-3-1-0) its pretty good and people dont use it much, would recommend if your comfortable with murky.

Hey everyone so this requires a lot of backstory to make sense, so please bear with me here.
I grew up with an abusive mother and a dad who either encouraged it or looked the other way. I am a college student and am working as a researcher for the summer with free on campus housing and pay, which meant I was only going to be home for about a week before moving back onto campus for research. Unfortunately for me, I was kicked out only after a few days home and with still a week before I could move back onto campus, so I essentially became homeless. I had to fight to get the clothes I was wearing, the phone I bought as backup for situations like this, and my computer. I found a place to stay for the week I couldn't be on campus but it was still stressful and still is because I've lost my family, home, and all my belongings. This is where the issue with my boyfriend comes in. We've been together for about a year, and we've had a lot of ups and downs in our relationship, mainly to do with the fact that I felt he did not make enough time for me. I am going to be completely open and honest and admit that I was pretty awful to him. While it is no excuse, growing up in a household like I did made it difficult to develop healthy ways of communicating, and more often than not my immediate reaction to being hurt (his seeming lack of care due to rarely speaking to me or spending time with me) is to usually get mad and lash out. I know this is not right, and I do not want to hurt him, let alone anyone, like that, so I have been working on myself at getting better at communicating and not lashing out like I had been. It hasn't been easy, and I'm not perfect, but I have been trying. I however, feel that he has not worked at all on giving me time, and I tried to be understanding about this as much as I could during the school year because I know he is very stressed (he is in a demanding major and has to keep his GPA up for scholarships and things). My communication about wanting more time with him was usually met with some version of "I can't I'm too busy", which upset me but ok fine whatever. Recently though, his classes ended shortly after mine, and I know (because he told me) he is working as a Paid intern in essentially a 9-5 job. Which to me, should mean he is less busy and would be able to (and want to) interact with me more. This was not the case at all. It took days after I had been kicked out of the house to get ahold of him and inform him of everything that had happened. After this, I would wait 12+ hrs for a response from him. I know that sometimes his phone acts up and doesn't work very well, but he has also communicated with me through snapchat or Instagram on his computer, and he didn't even bother to do that either. This lack of talking went on for 2 weeks, meaning I was moved onto campus and literally a 15 minute drive from him for a week with still next to no communication or anything. This obviously, upset me very much as I was going through a lot and he was supposed to be less busy now and he was still barely talking to me. In my upset, I essentially told him that I expected him to be more there for me in the difficult time I'm having, I didn't appreciate him being MIA, and that this wasn't the type of relationship I wanted and he could have a nice summer. He basically said that it wasn't intentional and his phone was acting up but he could've done better. I didn't respond because we've had this conversation so many times and he knows how I feel and he never fixes it so him saying that did nothing to change my mind. I would have given him a second chance if he started putting more effort into talking to me and actually making time for me, but that's the last he messaged me until the literal next day when he asked if I was taking calls, and said he had called me, when I hadn't received any calls. He essentially left it at that until 2 days later I called him. He picked up and sat there in silence for a whole minute before I gave up and hung up. He sent me a message asking why I called him to ignore him and hang up. When I told him I didn't hear him say anything, he said word for word "whatever. Not my fault you didn't hear me". Now, I don't see how else you could read that, but I took that as very sassy and like he couldn't give a shit about us talking or not. I blew up on him and told him I gave him so many chances, even after I had decided I was done I was still waiting for him to prove me wrong so I could give him a second chance, because I love him and if we can work things out I don't want to have the relationship end. I said something along the lines of "Anyone would think you don't want to be with me" and he responded with "Well, anyone would think I'm in an abusive relationship from how often I get kicked out and emotionally bounced around". For context, when he would be over to visit at my apartment and he'd do something that would upset me, I'd tell him to get out of my apartment, and once I calmed down enough I'd realize I didn't want him to go. Which yeah, I'm really lucky he put up with that and I should have never done that to him, but I felt that that wasn't the point of the conversation and said as much to him. We had already talked about that stuff and I've apologized and I'm working on it and I have been getting better, which even he agrees with. So I just felt it unnecessary to bring up a separate problem. I said to him "have I gotten a sorry? I'll work on it? Or anything other than a "you suck more?"" And he said he supposedly had wanted to say all these things over a call. At this point, I had to stop talking and go because, since I'm now homeless essentially and will be moving into an apartment, I needed furniture, and the university was trashing old furniture and I either needed to get it right then or not at all. He called twice while I was gone, and I was gone for a little over an hour. When I got back I tried calling him back, and I sent him a message saying to call me back. He has not spoken to me since then. He has not opened a single message on instagram or snapchat (I have an android so I don't know if he opened my texts). I'm honestly at a loss of what to do. I said before that if this can be salvaged I want to do that because l do love him and still want to work through things with him, and it seemed like that had been what he was willing to do right before I had to go, but now all of a sudden he isn't speaking to me. It's been almost two weeks and I'm scared he'll never talk to me again. I want to send him a big text just saying how I care about him and would like to talk to him but I don't know if I should or if he would even read it. He hasn't blocked or unadded me, he's just not opening or answering anything. Help????

This might sound a little cheesy but oh well this is a story that has to be told. On a breezy Sunday afternoon, my adventurous feline companion, Buttons, was playing in our backyard as usual. Whiskers had a curious nature that knew no bounds, but on this particular day, his curiosity led him to the one part of the yard he wasn't supposed to venture – the small opening in our fence that led to the vast wilderness beyond.
That evening, when I called for Buttons to come inside as I usually did, my calls were met with silence. A sense of worry clouded my heart. I hurriedly grabbed a flashlight and started a frantic search, calling out his name into the encroaching darkness. But, Buttons was nowhere to be found.
My heart sunk, but then I remembered the small device I'd attached to his collar just a week prior - an Apple AirTag. I had initially bought it to keep track of my keys, but then I thought it would serve better to keep tabs on my adventurous little friend. A quick dash to my living room to fetch my iPhone, and I found myself opening the "Find My" app, praying fervently for it to work.
The "Items" tab showed Buttons as offline initially. A wave of panic surged through me, but then I remembered reading that the AirTag's signal can take a few minutes to be picked up by nearby devices. I activated the "Lost" mode and held my breath. A few long, agonizing minutes passed. Just as despair was about to set in, a small beep from my iPhone indicated that Whiskers' location was picked up.
I felt a surge of relief as I found him moving about in a small patch of woodland a few blocks away from our home. Guided by the app, I navigated through the dimly lit streets and into the unknown territory that Buttons had ventured into.
I felt a mix of apprehension and hope as I followed the precise directions given by the AirTag. Then, in the distance, I heard a familiar mew. It was faint, but unmistakable. Holding my breath, I rounded a bush and saw the glow of Whiskers' eyes reflecting my flashlight. There he was, crouched by a tree, seemingly equally relieved to see a familiar face.
With Buttons safe in my arms, I couldn't help but feel immensely grateful for the tiny piece of technology on his collar. The Apple AirTag, which I had initially bought on a whim, had led me straight to my wayward companion. It had turned what could have been a night of endless worry into a tale of relief and reunion. From that day forward, I saw my cat's AirTag not just as a gadget, but as an invaluable tool ensuring the safety of my beloved Buttons.

I have $30k remaining in student loans with a 3.23% interest rate and am currently paying $2k towards this debt monthly.
My husband and I are relocating with our 7 month old daughter and dog to the Boston area this summer. We would like to buy a home in the next couple of years but will rent first upon moving. The twist here is that he resigned from his toxic and stressful job making $170k a year to allow us to move. We have $350k in savings (plus separate 401Ks) and I currently make $160k annually.

A bit of bg info i’m 24f and in the UK.
I went to the doctors with lower abdominal pain, they sent me to the hospital for blood tests on Tuesday and nothing abnormal came back for things like appendicitis. They brought me in for an ultrasound today, however they didn’t scan the area where i had pain and just did my upper abdominal area (checking gallbladder etc). I then had an appointment after this with the surgical doctor who felt my stomach and said it felt better than on Tuesday, and that it is most likely an ovarian cyst.
I was told that it would go away on its own within a couple of weeks and nothing else, but when i looked on the NHS website it said that when ovarian cysts cause symptoms then a doctor should look into it which i don’t feel has been done at all here.
I’m feeling really physically uncomfortable and having occasional pain in my back and leg from this. I also have a family history of fibroids.
Would it be worth me calling my GP again if the pain persists or should i leave it to see if it goes away on its own?

She suffered her first stroke in January.
She began Rehab in February (at home)
She had a setback in hat recovery, and ended back up in ICU in April.
She began to get better, and began rehab again in a care facility.
First saturday in May (Kentucky Derby Day) She was rushed back to the hospital again. She has not left.

My wife and I took the first time home buyer loan back in 2008. Fast forward to 2016 we lost the home to foreclosure and filed bankruptcy. We have been paying the loan back and reporting it on taxes. We Just learned this year we don't need to pay it back because there was no profit made. My question is when I complete the form I still see I owe 2000.00 Dollars before the load would be paid. M28 here. This is a bit of a Rant and a bit of a recovery story. I also want to see if other people went/are going through similar things.
First time ever I post on Reddit, but I thought it might help me or others since I’ve found some solace in the posts of others.
Long story not so short-ish, I got diagnosed with Panic Disorder this winter in January. It was quite frankly hell like pretty much everybody else that went through that.
We bought a house back in August last year, and straight after moving in, I noticed that something felt odd inside me. I had some very mild coughing, allergic rhinitis, tight chest sometimes, etc. I put it in the new environment, maybe I wasn’t used to the flora around the house since it’s a lot different than what was around my previous flat or maybe it was the previous owner’s dog (super allergic to them sadly).
Around November, things started going south at work and just a while before, my partner made her coming out as bi-sexual to me(She figured out she’s pan-sexual in the meantime, but I digress, we’re still together of course and everything is still going smoothly).
Seeing that things weren’t looking good at work and that I had been idling for months, I started looking, got an offer, and left.
On top of that, we got a new cat (to which I somehow thought I was allergic at that time) and this is when all hell broke loose.
All the stressors compounded into triggering my first huge panic attack. I had a month off between my two jobs over the Christmas break and just spiralled down. Of course, I saw my doctor for all the symptoms but we didn’t find anything.
I started having huge brain fog, difficulty focusing, chest tightness, and being in derealization 99% of the time which all triggered more anxiety.
Quite frankly I was getting panicky even in my dreams.
This is when I went away from home for some days. There I figured out that there was definitely something else going on because I wasn’t feeling better.
This is when I went to the doctor and finally got my diagnosis. I was put on Paxil and was put on Short term leave at work.
It took me 2 months and a half to start functioning and enjoying life again.
Honestly, it's been some months now and I still get crushed by panic attacks. It seems that the triggers are wider now. The other day I was playing Magic the gathering with friends and was too excited, it started a panic attack.
I listened to both Dare by Barry McDonagh and Rewire your anxious brain by Catherine M. Pittman.
A mix of both approaches helped me reduce the recurrence of the attacks. And so was naming what I was feeling and going to therapy (Been going to therapy for some years though). Deep breathing & meditation really helped me calm my nervous system. There are a few apps but I use Oura, Headspace, Balance, and Stoic.
That doesn't mean that what worked for me will work for you, but hopefully, it helps you with your symptoms!
In the end, what triggers my attacks now is mainly allergies (seasonal and dust) they make my nose and throat dry and this is usually the beginning of the spiral, but I can usually stop it there. But I can usually get it at the beginning of the spiral.
I wanted to know if anybody else was experiencing this and if yes what are your solutions?
TL;DR: Dust is causing me mild allergies and triggers my panic attacks. Meditation, deep breathing, sports, and good ife structure helped me push through.
Forgot to add, to deal with the physical symptoms, I drink lots of water and use a nasal spray!

as I said in the title, I planned to start studying japanese at the end of June when I’ll finish my last exams. I finally found the motivation and I watched a lot of video which explained how to study it; I decided to start from a textbook similar to genki (but in my native language) and I’m ready for hiragana, katakana and basic grammar. The only thing that scares me, since my main goal is to be able to read, is kanji. Everyone talked about using Anki, Wanikani, Kanji garden, etc.. I tried many of them and the first impression was shock. Many people said that it’s more helpful not to study the meaning of the kanji alone but the meaning of it in a context with other kanjis, but since I know 0 of them as I say them in a sentence I was scared it could be very hard. What would u suggest me? starting by some anki to randomly get the easiest one and, as I will get better, trying to understand them in a sentence? Also, is it okay if I start studying them as soon as I’m done with hiragana and katakana? I guess kanji will be hardest part so if u have any suggestions for them for a beginner with 0 experiences just tell me! (no need for apps, website, I have them, I’m talking about the way you would think is the best to approach them at the beginning … using the apps I mentioned before I just thought I was reading something so hard that I’ll never get so everything would be useful for now)!
