Sad context out the way first: call it cliche but my grandfather loved country and always used to play it. When I was a kid he'd "dance" with me and all, really settled my love for it. Recently he passed away. I have a home video of him dancing with me as a young kid and there's so little to it but I'm trying to find it if there's any hope at all.
The song was a slow and deep country song, it had mostly guitar I think. The voice was deep and slow as most country songs are. The lyrics, from what I can hear in the video, is "I was dreaminnnn~ for I am home againnn~ ma(d/k)e [...] I thought" before young me cut off the music.
I know this sounds desperate and depressing but I really, really want to know what this song is if at all possible, it would mean a lot to me. If not then I understand, it's okay, but this is my last call to the world to find it.

2020 - Granted RSUs (while living /working remote from NJ) these Vest over 4years 2022 - I lived and worked remotely in MA (1/2 year) and worked in CA (1/2year) and 1/4 of the above mentioned RSUs vested.
Yet I have tax forms for taxes paid to NJ on those vested stocks.

1. I am confused why NJ is getting any taxes on these
2. I am confused about what portion of the RSU is being taxed (is it just the stocks increase between grant and vest; or full value)?
3. I believe I am paying double tax on these RSUs since I was also taxed in MA and CA for these. Is the there a way to deduct this amount from NJ?
4. I am finding it difficult to find anything about this topic online, any pointers?

For context, I'm 31 and I just feel like I've been changing and growing for the better at a really accelerated rate right now, especially since I hit 30. Lots of older women I know say they all loved being in their 30s which is awesome, but the amount of growth, setting boundaries, getting more confident, and giving less of a fuck as been bit of a whirlwind. Is it because I'm just getting used to my skin?
I will say I don't have children and I'm not married, but I do live with my partner (and my future MIL). I have both my BA & MA too. I have a passion outside of work that i am excelling in, and at work, I'm doing a good job, mostly--besides when i doubt myself so hard I almost cause way more paperwork....

I hope this message finds you all well. I am currently in the market for a car to get me through my last year of school, and I am considering a 2014 BMW 328xi. However, I am aware that BMWs can be expensive to maintain and that there have been some reported issues with the engine and Timing chain on these models.
My dad had a 2013 BMW and the engine blew probably because of the timing chain, and I don't want to fall into a 5-10k repair rabbit hole. However, I am wondering if the 2014 model is a better option and if it would be a solid choice to get me through my final year of school. AWD is also nice as I am in New England. I am starting to commute more (50 miles to school, 15 miles to work, 50-60 miles to MMA gym) so I want something that will make me feel more secure and something I can count on.
Should I scrap the BMW idea and shoot for like a 2016-20 civic/Subaru that's pretty out of the wrapper for a similar price? I know it will be biased cause the sub haha, but any input/wisdom/opinion will help.

Considering: 2014 BMW 328XI with 17,000 miles for $22,400 US(All fees included) Has the premium package and honestly looks out of the wrapper. Comes from a reputable/trustworthy dealer we work with previously.
I previously owned a 2007 BMW 328xi, which was my first car, and the maintenance was high but I honestly beat the crap out of it. Sold that for a 2005 Honda Civic with 82k miles and it just lit up like a Christmas tree. Getting tired of dealing with car issues so looking to try.

AR-10 Range Report:
Went to the range with my friend Terry. I fired a couple of rounds then handed him the AR-10. He was used to shooting the M1A, and said it was enjoyable. We shot some 5.56 from the Springfield Saint for trigger comparisons... The difference was amazing. I came back to the AR-10... The two outer shots were a guy trying to replicate his sitting on the ground shooting stance from his twenties. I got back up, sat at the bench with a bag and dumped the remaining rounds. 50 yards, rapid fire, with holosun green dot and 3x vortex magnifier. I am very happy with the setup. Will eventually get a 1-10 scope, but satisfied with this situation at this point. The AR-10 operated flawlessly!

I've always claimed Single 0 (MA if that matters) and my current employer of 8 years (a municipality) misread my W-4 and has had me under Single claiming 2 dependents the entire duration. Before we go any further, believe me I know: I should've paid better attention to my pay stubs. So now I am about to start paying a tax expert my parents have done good work with for years hundreds of dollars to look through 8 years worth of tax returns because I've always filed under Single-0. Every single job I've had I've put myself under 0 and find it very hard to believe after 10+ years of filling out W-4's that all of a sudden I inadvertently changed my mind and went for Single claiming 2.
I called the office that handles employee tax returns and let them know. They said to check my paystub and low and behold: Single claiming 2. They said (over the phone) that they were (at that moment) reviewing my W-4 filled out in 2015 and that it did indeed say Single claiming 2 and that I would have to fill out a new W-4 to have it corrected, warning this would not be retroactive. I asked for a copy of the 2015 W-4 last Friday and they called me today on my lunch break explaining that "documents were lost over the years" and that I might not get a copy of it, even though they said through the phone that they were indeed looking at it and that they witnessed it said Single claiming 2.
Do you think I will end up owing money filing tax returns under Single 0 when they were in fact Single claiming 2 dependents? Is there anything I can do regarding them claiming they saw it said one tax bracket on the 2015 W-4 but then the following Monday say it might've gotten lost over the years? Will it possibly be considered as tax fraud for filing tax returns under the wrong tax bracket whether I realized or not over these years? I really hope I don't sound too on the moon regarding the subject but this has me concerned enough to spend hundreds of dollars to look through the past 8 years if I have to and possibly owe more after what they can possibly find.

I have had 4 interviews for GCA jobs, one went to the final round and I was not offered the position. I decided to apply for an optometric tech position and had my 2nd interview today and was offered the position shortly after. I graduated in May 2022 with a bio degree and did an internship for genetic counseling after but have been working at my school’s admissions office since it ended. In one of my GCA interviews the interviewer asked me if I had any medical experience at all. I don’t have the money to be MA or EMT certified and was wondering if anyone has been an optometric tech and what their experiences applying to grad school was like. I know that I want to be a GC and not an optometrist so I’m not sure how it will come across in program interviews.
I do also have an offer for a labcorp microbiology lab tech position but I never enjoyed labs in school so I am not sure what I would think of it.
Any input is appreciated!!!

I've never been much interested about my love life but I've started to like someone lately (despite thinking I'd stay single my entire life) I really want to know if ill ever marry and when i will if possible(no pressure 😅) also would love to learn about ANYTHING related to my love life, thankyou in advance!!

I know this is old hat for most of you but please feel free to correct me or add to anything I mention below. About to embark on final three missions in my second play through. but here are some things I picked up on in my second playthrough on BG.
Third time around I will remember to install the mod. I just don’t know if it will be MG or Legendary.
-Manpower didn’t seem like an issue until somewhere around maybe Chancellorsville at which point I needed to use reputation to acquire more manpower. I actually enjoyed this aspect. But I also found that investing points in training is perhaps a total rip off.
-Once I got smart and put more points into Medical I was getting some men back (and I guess weapons too since I am guessing never recover all the weapons you lose) things were back under control.
-Late game Union counterbattery fire is murder. Almost makes me want to not take artillery on missions.
-the only cavalry that I am taking a shine to are the Melee variety but they almost seem OP. It just seems like 5 squadrons of 600-750 Cav in a murder ball converging on a single Brigade or two feels unrealistic.
-stars. I feel like I wasted points on training. I was so fixated on getting Brigades up to 3 star and keeping them there that I wasted tons of money. I think I would rather have well equipped 1/2 star units. The exception being my 3 star arty BDEs which do nicely.
-I have so many LTGs now compared to first play through. One even got killed as a Div Commander and for some reason I didn’t realize he had been promoted. I still have one for each the 5 Corps (one includes me).
-seems like for the Confederacy you need to maximize Union casualties in order to capture as many weapons such as the 1863 Springfields. Also exchanging prisoners really helps with the manpower.
-Lastly, manning and equipping Brigades across 2-3 Corps late game is a real chore. I wish there was an auto fill of some sort.
