I (26 F) and trying to get full time custody of my baby (6mo) and am hoping that the father (23 M) can get every other weekend. The father has never bought her ANYTHING, helped me take care of her, he has maybe changed 4 diapers this whole time and fed her twice. We don't live together and he never comes and sees her, he's never given my any money to buy her anything. NOW he is trying to tell me he wants half custody of her and all of a sudden wants to her see her because his dad/my baby's grandfather (74 M) is telling him what to do. His dad controls his finances, he lives with his dad in a dirty house with junk and dangerous tools everywhere, the house smells like mold there is rat crap everywhere. His dad is mean and yells and me and everytime I have been over there he tells me what do do and how to raise the baby, and not to always tend to her when she cries and I don't want my baby over there! His dad watches porn all night until 5 am blasting the bathroom is always disgusting. His dad has a record a mile long and he is just a mean, nasty old man. My baby daddy works all day and doesn't get home until 8 at night and doesn't even have a good running vehicle and I don't want my baby being with his dad all day long. I work from home and I watch her every day here at home with me. My baby daddy has been stressing me out saying he is going to hate me if I don't let him get half custody and him and his dad even showed up at my grandmas house to try and get her on their side! Talking crap about me when she knows the truth about the situation. And my baby daddy also set me up trying to say he was coming over to my house to see our baby but he brought his sister with him and he was trying to run out the house with baby and take her! I called the cops. I am so stressed because she is my world and he only cares about himself not her. Do you think this will go in my favor? I have lost so much sleep over this. If what Ja and his camp are saying is true and the latest gun he pulled out on his friends IG live is actually fake then there’s really no harm done. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely a bad look and looks immature but at least he isn’t actually being negligent with a firearm. If Ja needs to wave weapons around while listening to rap music I would rather they be toys that can’t cause actual harm. He clearly wants to flex on the gram and look cool and fake guns could replace the void of not being able to show off real ones. I don’t know Ja personally but he clearly seems like a troubled young man who’s enamored with the “street life” and his obsession with guns is emblematic of the society he grew up in. This country has a prevalent fixation with gun culture and the 2nd amendment. His worrying social media activity after he relapsed this second time suggests he’s really struggling with fame and he’s already said he needs to learn some new breathing exercises.
Not only should the NBA let Ja have some fun with fake guns but them or the Grizzlies should straight up buy them for him. That way you don’t have to worry about him being negligent with an actual firearm and hurting himself or others. I say let Ja flash a fake gun on IG live once a month. Ideally this works as a form of rehabilitation for him and helps slowly get him hooked off his addiction. You could even have him work his way up from showing off realistic looking fakes to NERF blasters and then eventually water super soakers or something. At some point Ja will realize how lame he looks waving toy pistols around and he’ll stop on his own accord and if the guns are clearly fake then he can avoid setting a bad example for children who follow him. Suspending him half the season does nothing but punish him and us as fans.

So after a month and a half my baby Samson only gained one gram. Should I be worried? He's eating and pooping regularly and I just started feeding bugs.

I have been with my girlfriend for 7 years and we have both been through a lot together. Multiple houses owned and plenty of great holidays and amazing times. In January we unfortunately lost a baby during the pregnancy and since then I have just not felt the same. It wasn’t planned but loosing our child has really affected me in a way that I just want to be alone now. What makes all of this worse is that the majority of our relationship I was overweight and have only recently lost weight which makes me feel guilty for feeling this way. She put up with me at my worst and now I want it to end after my physical appearance has improved. It’s making me feel sick everyday and anxious of what to do. I’ll probably regret any decision but I’m getting older and am terrified I’ll be stuck for the rest of my life in a relationship where I’ll never fully be happy. Drinking constantly currently to try and avoid thinking about it but she is starting to see I’m less and less interested as the days go past. We’ve got a holiday booked in a week and it feels more like a farewell then a time I should be enjoying. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Am I a monster for wanting to throw away something good?
