Hi, this story involves me and 2-10 of my friends back in middle school in 2018. We are all 8th graders and all typical immature 14 year olds. During our rec time or recess, we would play basketball and do all sorts of stuff. One day during an English Class one of my friends Tyler decided to whip out his sock and try to touch my friend Sam and Kyle. The sock was brown and there at that moment, my friend Sam screamed out Kyle has the poop touch. Then and there,the poop touch was born. It was basically tag but we called it poop touch and played it RELIGIOUSLY. We played during class, at rec and the best time was on the way home from school. Just to put into perspective, people would sit out at each others houses for hours waiting for the person to come home. If you were the last to have it, you were basically shammed by the whole group and no one would get near you. Eventually teachers caught on from us playing during class and running off of school grounds down into the near town during school hours and the principal called some of us down into his office. He basically said that if we kept playing our legendary game we wouldint have any rec time, no field trips, no 8th grade trips, no walking across the stage, and no end of the year dance. So a few of us stopped playing during class and just played after school. Of course that didint stop all of us and Kyle, Clark and Sam continued and we’re sent to different parts of the school to stop them from playing in the morning . Clark was sent to the 6th grade home rooms and he taught the 6th graders how to play poop touch. the year was very close to being over and we kept playing per usual until our 8th grade graduation. Me and two others while walking across the stage, we shook our principles hand and said " poop touch no tag backs ". We thought it was so funny that we got him and he couldint do anything. we went to highschool and moved on and eventually when we are 10th graders, we talked to the freshman who came in and we were told that all the grades and especially the incoming 6th graders at the school, were not allowed to " play any touching games like tag and no poop touch is allowed ". I'm trash at running, I have been running every day and I have been getting consistently better but I stuck at running and I am very worried, my push ups and sit ups are fine but when I try to run a fast 1.5 miles I just cant do the whole thing without stopping, I can run 2-3 miles without stopping at an 11-12 minute pace and feel fine afterwards but trying to do a 1.5 mile at a 9 minute pace makes me feel like I'm going to die and I just stop even when I'm telling myself not to, the fastest I can run a 1.5 mile right now without stopping is probably 14.25, I'm leaving for BMT in 3 weeks, am I going to be ok at BMT or am I in terrible spot right now?

Hey all, another question- a few really. Buckle up, this one is gonna be big.
So, to clarify some prior posts, I work in a level 18 office in SoCal (not clarifying further for plausible deniability anonymity reasons). Four routes, three PTF clerks (FTF position in arbritration), and a LOT of problems. Those being, we only have two RCA's, one is on medical and fighting labor to even get treatment while the other is 6-days acting regular on an overburdened (~49hweek K route + DACA-5 every week) route.
So, a good few things: I was an RCA before, and thus have the training to run routes. I've done so for our Auxi before, and have not been appropriately paid for the mileage- but am not sure if it's viable for eTravel as it's personal vehicle delivery. At this point, I'm wondering if I'm even allowed to deliver routes, not just express- I've not gotten a straight answer when asking more directly.
My Postmaster is currently out on medical, he had a massive surgery and has been out for a good few months as is. We had an OIC come from, way away, and was doing genuinely fantastic work and fixing things that were long standing issues. Unfortunately, HIS home office practically imploded for something only a month in, his MPOO pulled him back to his district, to my knowledge. As a result- it's just us clerks, and the occasional nearby postmaster coming in for reports we don't have access too. We're doing CSAW, DCV, DMS, things that I'm fairly sure we're good to do, but some other ones- Scheduling, even giving instructions (instructing to pass instruction to carriers or other employees), feels like it's way sketch.
Yesterday we had a full route vacant due to callout- I called eight neighboring offices near and far, but with Saturday being a popular K-Day, there's jack squat available to come and cover. I'm there at like 2:30 AM on another postmaster's suggestion due to having a heavy and unexpected late UPS/Amazon drop yesterday afternoon, and it's enough it'll impact carrier time if trying to do my normal arrival times. (Note: All other clerks are otherwise indisposed on saturdays, I fly a solo ship and was told there MAY be relief later in the day if a nearby clerk in a single HWY route office gets done.) So, crap's hitting the fan, there's a whole route just fusterclucked, another one with a fairly fresh RCA that's gonna get in past 1800 as is. Eventually, I pull a big trigger- I contact District on another Postmaster's reccomendation (unsure why they didn't do it themselves, since I'm a PTF clerk...). I've never seen both my personal phone and hotline blow up so fast. Every postmaster nearby I had contacted is wondering what is going on- mind you most of them were told the details of my MIA route risking full failure to deliver- and others from farther offices immediately offering help later in the afternoon if I'm willing to case the mail (which, at this point to avoid being in a HUGE hot seat I am willing to do.) I'm already catching huge professional but passive flak from my Boss, but he's on medical, frankly should be resting- as well as the fact that he's not even hooked to the office in terms of accountability right now. The long-gone OIC is. I have postmasters telling me I made the right gut call- it was either being on the radar for requesting Aid on a level over what I usually have to (but with my hands otherwise tied), or get in trouble in one of three ways: Go into major OT (14 hr+ knowing my time on that route) and leave a lot of mail undelivered in PO Box, and fail integrity for all the PO box parcels and see if the RCA can help and get us both less overtime with the same PO box issues, or say 'not my problem' and end up on a big red flag list for failure to deliver- with me being the one that made the call to just not deal with it. Rock, meet hard place, meet blast explosives. It's already causing major friction with coworkers who hate being on anyone's radar, let alone district level management- fair enough.
How much of this am I realistically even supposed to be doing? I'm not getting paid OIC/EAS17-18 rates (technically no supervisor position here) rates, I have access to some head clerk tools and such, but by no means any supervisor, timekeeping or leave input, any of that. I just make the schedule, cover a vacant route with other RCA's as I can, and dangit if I don't do it WELL too, this being the first major issue, though one I was dreading to come inevitably given staffing issues.
What doesn't help either is that our steward is very much barely doing anything, and the actual rep is radio silent on myself and other clerks, same for the Rural rep. Glad I didn't join either of those, thank god.
Guess my questions are really: How much of this should I not be touching with a 0.5 mile delivery range pole? What calls am I on the hook for, given that I've only been verbally told what things to do, and that I'm a kinda, a standing scheduler? Was my call way too overboard, or was making sure it got done while doing a proper CYA with the call/communication a good call? Any other input would be, greatly appreciated. I just find myself anxious as hell about what's going on above my head, while still performing these duties.
Semi-related: I've also been informed though, that if I want to be put at a nearby city office to train back end OIC/Sup, I may well be offered it considering what I've been doing came to light in a big way today. Going to speak to my doctor but anyways had reconstruction surgery for my Acl tear stop taking naproxen and aspirin also the laxatives for two days because I cannot use the rest room after that slight break I can go but when I do it’s diarrhea like with mucus is this normal and it’s like day 5 after surgery how am I suppose to take these pills for 14 days straight aspirin to prevent blood clotting sounds pretty serious any suggestions
Also I’m getting slight chills can’t hold anything down except smoothies

• Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L V2 (Midnight) - $90 Purchased from Peak Design Marketplace on 4/10/23 and did not use. The Tenba Solstice 10L Sling is what I ended up choosing over quite a few slings.
  
• Tenba Fulton V2 14L All Weather Backpack (Black/Black Camo) - $90 Great backpack with rear camera access and a roll top. The All Weather fabric resists hair and is easier to wash. Prefer it to the other fabric (below on the 16L). Lightly used with no damage.
  
• Tenba Fulton V2 16L Backpack (Black) - $90 Same details as above, just larger. The fabric is a more traditional, soft variety. It does pick up hair far more, which I’ve done my best to clean 99% of it off. Lightly used with no damage.
  
• Aer Day Sling X-Pac - $80 Too small for a Fuji X100V or any Nikon Z. Fit my Ricoh GRIIIx fine. In like-new condition, just has been replaced by the larger Tenba Solstice 10L Sling mentioned above.
  
• Tenba BYOB 10 DSLR - $50 Fits in most standard sized backpacks in the 18-25L range. Can hold a full frame mirrorless and another lens (up to a 70-200 2.8). Quite handy.
  
• Tenba BYOB 13 - $55 Much larger and sturdier than the 10 DSLR, this may not really fit in a reasonable sized backpack, but can hold a lot as it’s quite deeper.
  

Today i was driving, and at a red stop in Somerville, a stranger in another car told me the pressure of one of my tires looked low. I was thinking of a million thing when he told me that, i said thank you, and then everyone continued with their lives. As my next stop was Target in Somerville, i suddenly thought about the tire. There, I inspected my tires and was shocked that one of them looked almost flat. I went to the Advance auto parts shop (next to the Target) and bought a tire inflator air compressor (that you can connect to the car - thank you to the salesman who recommended me this product; and even took the time to show me how the (same product he had for himself) worked on his car!! So in the end i inflated my flat tire (which only had 9 psi in it!!) and went home. When i woke up this morning i didn't feel in a great mood (probably because of the rainy and cold weather!).. but then those people who helped me have brightened my day! Thank you to the stranger in the car and the salesman of the Advance auto parts shop!

How much should he be eatting and any recommendations?
He is crazy active, can literally jump and run for hours. He plays fetch for two hours almost every day at full speed. He also makes his older sister play every day.
He is 2' 8" from head to butt and over 3' from head to tail.
From 1 to 2 1/2 years old he had a tiny belly pouch but in the last six months he has gained weight and his belly pouch has become more noticeable.
We feed with a slow bowl and he normally nibbles his bowl takes a break and goes back. He is fed from 7:30a to 9a and 9p to 11:30p every day. We separate from the other cat during food time.
Thank you for you information and help! I want to be proactive in this and not let his weight get out of control.

I relapsed this month and so it's still my first week into getting back on the wagon. Normally I've been able to make it past day 5 before, but something absolutely gripped me today and would not let go. The demon, of course, asking me very sweetly to feed it.
Maybe it's the fact that it's boiling hot. Maybe it's the fact that I went to the beach today and I associate this kind of weather with drinking. Maybe it's the fact that I felt really lonely with all these happy people around me. Or maybe it's just the fact that I'm an early recovery again. But what happened is that I came home, and this absolute need to drink washed over me in a way that was almost paralyzing.
And I live one block from a liquor store. You can imagine how well that has served me over the years.
I took a shower. While I was showering, I kept repeating out loud, "I am going to starve you. I am going to starve you." Speaking directly to the demonic presence, of course.
I hauled out all of my recovery literature. I made some popcorn. I finally left my apartment and walked to the local Asian market and bought something. I got an iced tea lemonade from the local coffee shop. And by the time I got back home, I felt calmed down.
From what I read, urges last about 20 minutes. You can either fight them and have a negative experience, or ride them like a wave. I'm training myself to do that. But holy fuck, this one was harsh. I'm proud of myself.
