Elgin end of summer bash

Not exactly homeschooling, but my son goes to a tiny private school that uses BJU Press for curriculum. The school is holding a reading program and the kids will be awarded special prizes for reading and being read the amount of books for their grade level at the end of next year. The school says we have the freedom to choose, but preference is for the classics. Would love to hear some suggestions.

(For context I go to the university of Calgary but reside in Manitoba. I posted this here as this is a more relevant place to post the question)
Trying to apply for student loans for the summer term, each time it says error within application. I’ve been trying for about a week now and have sent them an email and tried calling and nothing. I’ve tried on my phone and laptop and iPad and in incognito mode. Does anyone have any other trouble shooting ideas? I’m starting to panic I might need to submit a paper application which probably won’t get processed in time.

I mean, is it actually credible that someone who gets reincarnated inside a fictional story, that is aware that they are following a plot written by a random person in their former world, that every possible character she meets in her new life is just the fruit of the imagination of some author holed in their home (possibly even a teenager with how bad the original story is) and end up falling in love with that person, even though they live in a world where people are drastically different from the average person from earth. What can they even talk about ? What interests would they even share for them to fall in love with eachother ?
And even worse when the FL is the author of that story. She created that character. From what I've read about how writers feel about their characters, they generally see them as their children. So the whole falling in love with the MC trope is just a form of incest in my view.

I have nine years of retail management experience from department to executive with some district work. I am about to be 30. I graduated with an MBA at the end of last year. For the last three years I have been working a low stress very flexible facilities role at 50k a year to finish my degree and get my MBA. My boss offered to step down and the top manager said the best they can do is 65k to keep me on. I've been doing most of my bosses job in the last year. I love this job but with student loans and rent I'd only be saving a few hundred a month on top of my 10% 401k. I have been applying for jobs and it hasn't been great. I think if I stick with it I can get 80k but I doubt I will love my job the same way. I work for a non profit so I get a lot of vacation time and lots of extra holiday time and I love it. There's no set hours and almost no stress. I'd be managing a team of 10 people but they already get weekly schedules from me and I'm retail I had a team of 150 people so I feel confident about doing the role. If I take this I'll feel obligated to stay for atleast a few years as my boss is stepping down/early partial retiring for the department to make room for my pay bump. My old retail store offered me 90k before bonuses to return but honestly I hated that job, it was a very easy interview though.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Car needs: Valve Cover, Control arms, Shocks/struts (4), rotors, calipers, and pads. Tires were wearing unevenly on outer edge, vibrating at speeds greater than 80+, and pulling left when I would apply medium pressure to the brake.

Some details changed because she uses Reddit. I'll try to keep this as short as possible. TL;DR at the end.
I (39M) met Anna (38F) at the University, we attended the same PhD. We've been together for 15 years now.
Around the 10 year mark, Anna started experiencing some non-specific symptoms, like fatigue and dyspepsia. It didn't affect her much so she figured it must be stress or just poor diet (she has an ED history) and didn't visit her GP. The symptoms eventually turned more aggressive, she did end up going for evaluation but was always dismissed with stress diagnosis. She developed severe hypochondria and had regular panic attacks. Doctors, again, did nothing. Due to the nature of her work and the fact that she didn't sleep, she got fired which just made her mental health worse, especially since she was now staying an entire day at home, alone. At this stage, she was unable to function on her own and I was her sole caretaker. She started rapidly losing weight and on her 5'9 height, she weighted barely 100 lbs. Fortunately, the pandemic hit, I switched jobs and the work was remote which meant I could be there for her. Her mental health suffered greatly, she started having really dark throughts and would beg me to break up with her. Or just leave house for a while so she can "rest".
Fast forward a few months, she was finally diagnosed and started her theraphy. She's now able to care for herself (like go to the bathroom alone, prepare some basic meals, move around the house). Here's the issue - I'm not sure what happened as I can only assume but she started being anxiously attached to me. I tried addressing this with her but she just says "she owes her life to me".
Here's just some things that come to my mind: - She'd wake up before I do and prepare (elaborate) breakfast and pack my lunch before I go to work. She's still doesn't work and has no places to be. I get up at 6 am. - Constant physical contact like sitting in my lap or hugging me. Even in public, even if other people are evidently uncomfortable. She was never physically expressive and generally hates PDA. - Inability to go several hours without texting or calling - Doesn't have strength to leave to house but gets really bummed when I see other people. So I just don't leave our place anymore. - Sex multiple times a day. She accidentally let it slip out she just does it because "she enjoys pleasing me". Well, I don't enjoy when she's overstimulated and forcing herself. But anytime I tell her, I can tell she gets sad even though she tries to hide it.
I can't even describe how many times I tried telling her, in a nicest way possible, to knock it off. She either laughs it off, playfully negotiates it until I cave, or gets really sad or upset (at herself, never at me). I can't say I'm too upset with some things - like physical aspect of it - but she's doing it for wrong reasons and I can't enjoy it. When I met her, she was this sexy woman who minded her own business and told me to go fuck myself when I deserved it. Now, I feel like her parent, like I'm still her caretaker. She's my soulmate and not even once I thought of leaving her when she was sick, but now I think it's the only way to tell her this isn't healthy behavior. She says she does it because she's grateful and that this is what her therapist suggested her to do (I highly doubt this is what he meant but fine). What to do?
TL;DR: My girlfriend survived a serious illness and is trying to "make up to me" for sticking by her side. However, she's doing too much and it's making me uncomfortable, to say at least.

Traveller! One of the grand dads of the RPG industry. You get a space ship, you have to pay down its mortgage. And you have to traveller. Wanna do some trading? Yea. Wanna explore odd places? Yea. Do you ever dream of playing a middle age person, just decide to up end their life, get in a space ship and try that for a while? Yea! Will trade provide enough money to pay for your goals and the ship? Better start taking on odd jobs.
Oh no, those odd jobs have gotten you all into a delicate and deep web of adventure.
Traveller at its base level, is a space adventure and trade game. Similar to games to like Elite. Its inspired shows such as Firefly and games such as Bethesda upcoming Starfield. You make a character with a life path system. Operate a space ship. Try to trade to get rich. And hopefully the adventures dont ruin you financially.
This is a sandbox Traveller game, restricted to 4 sub sectors around Mora. Each player is encourage to set up their own goals. As the PC traveller through the area, they'll start forming friendships and flesh out planets and sophonts living there.
Why restrict the area of play? Well some games can claim a very large playable areas, most games dont come close to how big Traveller is.
The default setting that Mongoose uses is Third Imperium in year 1105. The Third Imperium alone has over 15k solar systems. Each of them named, many of them having a wikia entry on them.
Travellermap.com and just zoom out. Its a big place. And if you continue to zoom out, you'll see how how small it is compared to Milky Way. To see where the game is taking place, there is a search box. Type in Mora. They'll be a planet with that name in the Mora subsector.
Beyond the nearly weekly adventure per planet, there will also be a larger storyline that can be followed and be explored and played through. And I hope to really get to know the characters and players. The Traveller by its nature is a large world, and Players and GM will be jointly helping to make and fill out NPCs.
There are number factions already formed at play, to help give players the type of experience they want. Space pirates? We got space pirates. Want to do social intrigue? There are 4 Noble families all bickering with themselves trying to one up and covet each other holding. Wanna go military? The Sword Worlder love to raid into Lunion! And if they just wanna be guys in a space truck, trying to get make ends meet, then we can do that. Because its in space, even mundane fetch quests can just get weirder.

All Orruk Warclans units gain these battle traits.

Orruk Warclans heroes can perform this heroic action. Ere we go, ere we go, ere we go! Roll a dice. If the roll is greater than the battle round number, gain WEP equal to the battle round.
All Orruk Warclans units gain these abilities for having the equivalent or more Waaagh energy points. 6 +1 run 8 +1 charge 10 +1 cast, dispel and unbind 14 +1 hit 18 +1 wound 24 In the herophase. Release the Waaagh! Summon a unit of battleline and place it wholly within 12" of the board edge, wholly outside of 9" of any enemy units. Also, pick a Waaagh! to call to your army. Based on your generals keyword. 1. Ironjawz. All your Ironjawz units gain +1 to charge and +1 to rend. 2. Kruleboyz. Pick up to 2 Kruleboyz units, they gain the strike first effect. 3. Bonesplitterz. All Bonesplitterz units gain a 4+ ward until the end of the turn or until they have fought in the following combat phase. 4. All Orruk Warclans units gain +1 attack for melee attacks. At the end of turn, decrease your total Waaagh energy points by 24
24 LAST HOOWAAAAGHH! Call the last HOOWAAAAGHH in your herophase. You can only use this after releasing the Waaagh! Immediately lose all your Waaagh energy points and you can no longer gain WEP for the rest of the battle. Pick from one of the following effects. 1. One of your units gains -1 rend. 2. One of your units gains strike first. 3. One of your units gets a 4+ ward.
When picking your army, you gain abilities based on how many heroes have the faction keyword, Ironjawz, Kruleboyz or Bonesplitterz.
If you have 1 Ironjawz hero, all your Ironjawz units can use the mighty destroyers command ability. If you have 3 Ironjawz heroes, your Ironjawz units can use the smashing and bashing ability. If all units in your army have the Ironjawz keyword, you can select a Subfaction. (Ironsunz, boodtoofs or Da choppas)
If you have 1 Kruleboyz hero, all your Kruelboyz units gain the venom encrusted weapons ability. If you have 3 Kruleboyz heroes, you may employ dirty tricks. Pick 2. If all units in your army have the Kruleboyz keyword, you can select a Subfaction. Of the 3
All Bonesplitterz units have a 6+ ward. If you have 1 Bonesplitterz hero, all your Bonesplitterz units gain the spirit of Gorkamorka ability. If you have 3 Bonesplitterz heroes, your Bonesplitterz units can use the tireless trackers ability l. If all units in your army have the Bonesplitterz keyword, you can select a Subfaction.
Aside from these changes, obvious changes to the warscrolls are still needed, like warmaster for Gobsprakk, 3+ saves for Ironjawz etc.
What does everyone think?

Background: my girlfriend and I met while she was studying in my country 6 years ago. We dated while she was here for one year, and we both felt there was a strong connection, but we decided not to continue the relationship while apart due to the difficulties with extreme distance (separate continents, and I was still studying so we couldn't afford to travel to meet each other often). We stayed close friends however, and always intended to meet again in the future.
Around 8 months ago I was settled into my new job and she had an extended break from work, so it seemed like the perfect time to meet again. I told her I'd always felt that she was "the one" for me, and invited her to stay with me to see if we could have a relationship together. The idea was to live together for a while to see if we'd both be comfortable with her moving here and living together.
She stayed with me for 3 months and everything was perfect, I've never been happier. Eventually her break came to an end and she had to return to her country for work. When leaving we discussed how to make things work while we're apart, and began planning for her to move here within the next 18 months. She told me that she feels it's important to still message each other throughout the day (despite a 6 hour time difference meaning we can't talk directly most days), share our thoughts and feelings, as it's the only form of intimacy we can have while apart.
At first this was fine, but after a few weeks once she became busy with work, she stopped messaging so often. She would send a few messages per day, often not sending anything until mid-late afternoon. Often on weekends she would be too busy with friends to make time to call, and would get home so late that she just wanted to go straight to bed. Sometimes we didn't call for weeks. Sometimes she told me she would be able to call, and I rearranged my plans to accommodate, only for her to cancel at the last minute.
I tried talking to her about this and telling her how I feel. She told me that she doesn't really want to put time into the relationship while we're apart, she doesn't want to tell me her plans, and she doesn't want to tell me what she's doing. She says it annoys her when she feels she has an obligation to do those things. She would get annoyed at me for asking "how was your day", or "how was work", or "are you doing anything this weekend?". In the end I felt like I couldn't ask her anything at all. If I told her about my day or my plans, she'd make a brief comment on them but never offer any information of her own.
We have met several times since, and things are always perfect while we're together. Last time I told her (while she was still here) that I NEED more effort from her while we're apart. She listened, and promised to try harder. When she returned home, she tried harder for 2-3 days, but then went back to how it was before.
When we're together she's open to talk about anything. While we're apart if I send her any messages about how I feel or things that need to change, she often does not respond (despite repeated reminders), and eventually just tells me it's too tiring to read and I'm annoying her. If I say I want to talk about these things on a call, she says she doesn't want to spend the time on call doing that.
How can I approach this with her (for what will be the 4th or 5th time int total) without her just getting annoyed, and instead listening and being open to reach a compromise?
I feel I do a lot of work for the relationship (buying her gifts, showing her what I'm doing, making sure she feels cared for and missed, rearranging my plans (and even working hours) around her so we can spend time together), so I don't think my request is unreasonable, but she definitely makes me doubt this. Whenever I bring up this point she simply responds that relationships aren't about "fairness" and if we are comparing sacrifices/compromises she is not interested. I end up feeling like I am too needy, or a burden. I'm not asking for 100s of messages per day, but things like "good morning", "I finished work, it was a hard day", "good night", or "I'm a bit busy today so can't talk" would go a long way.
In all honesty, things are so bad while we're apart that I would just end the relationship if things were not so good while we're together - I never met anyone that I can talk to like her, that I can feel comfortable around and with whom I can really be my true self. That was the case in our first year together, and also in the recent months. I had several years after she first left to find someone else I can feel this way, and nothing compares. I don't want to throw away something so special for problems caused by a temporary situation, and in the worst case I'd rather just deal with another year of feeling unloved than to end things. Therefore I'm not interested in any replies suggesting to end the relationship, or take a break, or anything to that effect, no matter how well-intentioned they are.
TL;DR: How to approach my girlfriend with a request for her to put more effort into our LDR (specifically with regards to messaging more often, telling me about her day, or at least just saying good morning/goodnight), considering she's promised this in the past but not followed through, and tells me the requests are annoying while we're apart?

I am trying to set up mdt deployment for our company to use. The issue I'm running into is once the computer is joined to the domain laps changes our local admin password so the script won't continue.
From my research the idea way to do that is to create an OU that laps isn't targeting but management shut that down. So looking for suggestions.
We are using the wizard in mdt to set the computer name and enter the credentials since multiple of us join computers to the domain.
How can I set it to join the domain at the end of the script after the auto login takes place? I moved recover from the domain ts to the end but that didn't work.

With the shutdown of Apollo at the end of the month, my time on Reddit will be at worst over, and at best extremely limited now. Reddit’s official app is garbage, always has been. Apollo has been my go to for years now. The tools for both users and moderators are so sleek and easy to use that I don’t see the value in attempting to switch to the official Reddit app or exclusively use old.reddit.com when I’m mostly here on mobile. Also Reddit is just being shitty about this whole process, see Christian of Apollo’s recent post here. Get out of Reddit and into the trees!!
I know there are some really dedicated and genuine fans on here — I’d be happy to add a mod or two before Apollo ends!
I’m a very hands off moderator — I really only became one because I asked the original mods back in 2014 (when blur were presumed dead) if I could give the sub a facelift. I try to remove spam whenever you all report it and the occasional duplicate link, but I’m really here just because I love blur and the blur community. And I get more old fashioned as I get closer to 30and don’t care for automods being the first comment on every post, lots of rules and heavy enforcing, etc. I miss the old days of fan forums, which is kind of what Reddit is/can be. Luckily for us blur fans, there are other avenues for us, many of which you all may already be aware of, which brings me to my ultimate point… for those also hopping off Reddit:

Our sex life has been struggling. We have 2 kids, 2 years old and 9 months. For probably a year now the sex has been near zero for us. On average it’s 2 times a month or less.
I expressed to her at some point that I would think it’s hot if she slept with another man and then came home and we had crazy sex. This happens as planned one time. I’ve been on Reddit, exclusively through RIF, for 8 years. I’ve never made a friend on here. (I really don’t know how you people do it!) But I still consider all of you friends. This community has helped me through some tough and dark times. /suicide when I was at my lowest. /raisedbynarcisists when my mom died last year, and I had a lot of conflicting feelings to work through. /trees taught me what strains will help with my anxiety and which will make it worse. /ADHD helped me feel less alone, less crazy, and suggested new medications to try next so my blood pressure didn’t spike again. I have made posts and commented on things that I haven’t shared with my closest friend and family. And then there are the countless hours just scrolling, laughing, learning, and sharing.
I can’t believe this is coming to an end. I will not download the official app. I can’t support this company anymore. Profits are #1 and the users that actually run this website are all the way at the bottom.
This feels like a weird breakup with a best friend. Saying that I’m realizing my addiction to this app might be slightly unhealthy. But I’m heartbroken to lose the community and support I have turned to on so many occasions.

Been in the truck for 6 months straight, haven't spent a day out of it other then when my turbo actuator broke and I spent a couple days in the shop and at a hotel. Just started at a new company and they want me driving an absurd amount of hours every day. I was driving so long I started feeling nauseous, canceled the next 4 loads they had booked for me that were all team loads back to back with maybe like 3 or 4 hour windows each day to sleep. I'm really starting to question my life choices and how I ended up here. After canceling the loads because I was way to tired these fuckers want me to bob tail to California to get an empty like 2000 miles. Just feel terrible, I'm so burnt out. All I wanna do is roll this truck in a ditch.
