Hello everyone! Here are some suggestions that come often to my mind when playing the game:

1. Metals through portals: After defeating a boss, the corresponding biome metal can be carried through portals.
2. Dedicated equipment slots: for weapons, shields armor... etc.
   1. Derived from this:
      1. Dual-wielding: Let one handed weapons to be dual-wielded. Secondary attack becomes offhand attack instead of secondary attack of main weapon. Blocking, parry... etc stats still those of main weapon.
3. Improve ranged aiming system: Either modify where the projectile comes from the model or adjust the crosshair accordingly.
   1. First person aiming or zooming in would be welcome too.
4. Everything that consumes stamina should have a related skill which reduces stamina cost of that action, even no-combat actions like farming, etc. (Honestly, I think that after plating about thousands of onions one should become somehow better at it)
5. A way to moor ships or at list tie them to a post.
6. Increase base raid difficulty:
   1. Increase number of mobs per raid.
   2. Increase number of higher level mobs per raid.
   3. Allow mobs from different biomes to "ally" for raids after you defeat their corresponding bosses, resulting in bigger and harder raids.
   4. It's easy to cheese most raids digging ditches, as most mobs cannot jump or fly. They should have some skill to circumvent this.
   5. Add dvergar raids, happening after you steal your first extractor (like they try to get it back or just avenge dvergar you killed).
      1. If someday siege weapons are added, make it so dvergar use them on raids.
7. Regarding magic:
   1. Add secondary skill to casting weapons.
      1. Staff of embers: shoots a cone of flame in front of you as long you hold the button (like a flamethrower). Has a "build up" until it starts casting. Damage and eitr consumption start low and increase geometrically.
      2. Staff of frost: emits a gust of cold wind, pushing enemies away from the caster and applying a freezing effect. Cone AOE, no damage, very high knockback.
      3. Staff of protection: creates an static dome which is only passable for allied entities. Same stats as the shield cast, doesn't move, blocks movement.
      4. Dead Raiser: allows you to recall your current summons to your location, no matter the distance. Consumes very little eitr and hp (otherwise doesn't make sense).
   2. If dual wielding is added, magic could be also double wielded applying the same principle: your secondary attack will be offset staff main skill.
   3. The cost of summoning skeletons doesn't match their strength or usefulness. I understand they become stronger with the skill, but I think that they should be stronger in their early stages.
      1. Other idea: hold the button to summon. The longer you hold, the more eitr and hp you invest and the stronger the summoned skellies. This would add some risk-reward to it. Sometimes I need summons to fight, but sometimes I just need something to distract pursuers... etc.
   4. More summons. I'd love a summoner build.
   5. Healing spell/spells based on blood magic. Sacrifice a part of your HP to heal your summons and allies.
   6. A spell that restores stamina in an area (affects the caster too) at the cost of HP.
   7. Staff of Lightning:
      1. Main skill: shoots a lightning bolt in front of you. If it connects, jumps to the nearest possible target. Chance to stun targets. Number of jumps depends on staff level. Damage and stun chance on skill level. Wet enemies receive extra damage. (Basically good ol' Chain Lightning)
      2. Secondary skill: stomp the floor with the staff, releasing an electric shock in an area around you. Enemies receive damage and have a chance of being stunned.
   8. Enthralling spell:
      1. Main skill: charms a mob which becomes an ally for the duration of the spell. (Apply level/size restrictions for balance)
      2. Secondary skill: you gain direct control of a mob, but your own body is left behind defenseless until you release it or your eitr depletes.
   9. Getting enough soft tissue is currently very difficult for a coop playthrough. I don't ask it to be easy, but there should be other sources of it at least.
   10. An upgrade for both Wiplights and Wisp torches. There should be a higher tear which clears the fog in a larger area.
8. Let us ally dvergar temporarily. Maybe throwing a big stack of coins at them, "taming" them temporarily.
9. Bigger and more complex dungeons. Exploring dungeons is a fun part of the game, but would benefit from variety and complexity.
10. Add new mechanics, mobs, dungeons... whatever to previous biomes after you defeat subsequent bosses. The game would benefit from making every biome interesting for the whole progression of the game rather than just being an almost linear progression.
11. NPC bases. Not just the fuling camps. I'd love to raid and siege villages, forts etc. In the end, why would you have to be the only ones in Valheim, or even the first ones? Maybe others just settled.
12. Rowing. Having several norsemen staring at nothing next to empty oar holes becomes frustrating.
13. Fishing: add fish nets, fish traps... some other fishing implements.
14. Other ship types, like a cargo ship or a simple boat with oars. "Jumping" from a mere raft to a karve feels weird.
15. Backpacks, sacks, bags... carrying equipment in general.
16. Pikes or long spears. Later middle ages have already been introduced, so I don't see why shouldn't we have such weapons.
17. Camouflage: accessories made from biome resources which grant a bonus to stealth while you are in that biome.

Acquired a pretty well used old Verizon van, 200k miles, freeze plug popped and it needs a thorough cleaning, but it seems to be in relatively okay shape. Had to borrow a battery to drive it out of the spot it was parked then we towed it about 20 miles, I've discovered a few rust spots on interioexterior, a piece of the dripline is rusted away completely, any tips there?
would anyone have any recommendations for after market parts and quality of life accessories? Will post pictures once I get it cleaned out better. Need too replace driver and passenger seats because both are pretty nasty.
I eventually want too get an over the cab roof rack and put some decking boards up there so I can use it as a raised platform for fishing on the beach and storage for travel.
I plan too bedliner the whole exterior, was wondering if the concern of toxic fumes is worth the risk of spraying bedliner on the interior as well?

Hi everyone! Hoping to bounce some ideas off y'all. My husband and I are 28 and we just bought a house in October and had our first baby. Our mortgage is $2k per month, but my MIL lives in our converted garage and pays us rent, so we pay 1.5k per month. I make about 4k per month after taxes, and my husband makes about 2k per month, but he will probably make about half that as he plans on going to part time later in the year to care for our daughter. We have 20k in a HYSA, ~30k in my pension, and then he has a 401(k) but I don't think there's a lot in there. We just started a 529 for our baby. We have no car loans, student loans, credit card debt, etc, just our mortgage.
We both have to commute to work. I have to drive to work three or four days per week and he has to drive in four days per week. We have a pretty reliable 2016 Kia Soul, but my problem is my 1992 Ford Ranger. I love my truck for sentimental reasons (it was my late favorite Aunt's) and I've kept it in really good shape. For a thirty year old truck it's pretty great and has been my daily driver. Late last year my transmission went out and even though it was probably a bad financial decision, I replaced it. So, I've sunk a lot of money into it. I'm worried my sentimental love for it might be clouding my judgement.
This week my truck had to go to the mechanic again. The check engine light was on, the power steering pump is going out, etc. All in all they quoted me 2k to fix what it needs. I did the bare minimum to get the light off and told them I'd think about the rest. So, I'm thinking. Do I continue to pour money into it? Maybe at this age it shouldn't be my daily driver. It's not the safest vehicle, I don't want to put my baby into it. And maybe it's not the best financial decision to keep driving it.
I was thinking about getting a used car, maybe in the 10k range. Just something in good shape and reliable that I can put my baby in. I don't really want to go to a dealership. I was thinking I'd do a private sale and then have a mechanic look at it before I buy. That would leave us ~10k in our HYSA, depending on the price of the car.. I'm concerned that that's not a very large emergency fund. We just replaced our AC in our home I think we will need to replace the water heater in the next year, and the roof maybe in 5-10 years. Other than that I don't anticipate major house expenses soon, but expect the unexpected right? And with a new baby I don't know what to expect. I also know it's not a great time to buy a used car, but I'm not sure it's going to get any better.
And then I'm left with the decision of what to do with my truck, since the thought of getting rid of it entirely gives me anxiety, but I guess that's a separate problem. Any other ideas that I haven't thought of yet? Advice? Thank you guys, I know this was a lot of reading! Writing it all out helps me think about it too.

Tried my hand at building an all-white gaming PC. I think it turned out pretty good. Unfortunately I didn't know about the Taichi white edition when I got the pulse. White infinity mirrors was the theme. This build was meant for me, but things change and I need to go another direction, so it's now up for sale.
PC will be configured with custom timing on the RAM at 6000/CL30. CPU PBO CO set to -30/-25 per core with no overclocking or change to boost. GPU is fully stock. General Motors vehicles will soon be able to charge at a large swath of Tesla's vast Supercharger network starting in 2024, the two companies announced Thursday.
GM vehicles will have access to 12,000 Superchargers next year, the company said, with the automaker adopting the North American Charging Standard in 2025.
"Consumers won't have to worry about what plug, what socket, which charging station," Tesla CEO Elon Musk said.

It was the first perfume I had ever gotten as a little boy. My father bought it for me on a vacation in Sicily Italy somewhere around 1996-1999. I don't remember the name or the smell but I would recognize the bottle if I saw it.
It was a rather small bottle and I think it was maybe rounded with no edges and it was green maybe leaning towards turquoise. I definitely remember the cap being rounded with like a little tube ending. So Imagine it like the caps of the Prada L'Homme line but with the top part being round and not flat. There may have been like a label or something wrapped around the lower part of the cap.
I am also pretty sure that the bottle was not transparent and also not made of glass. Knowing my father it's very likely it was an Italian perfume.
Also my father isn't a guy who'd spend a lot of money on perfumes so I am assuming it was below 50€ so definitely under 100k Italian Lira back when he bought it.

I'm planning on washing my F150 while my wife is away on trip this afternoon and I'm still missing a microfiber towel and tire dressing after I wash my tires. Anyone have any recommendations on either one that is sold at Walmart? Also will consider going to Advanced Auto Parts or O'Reilly's if they have anything better than Walmart. TIA!

I would like to start by saying this is an honest review. I was an extremely loyal Carvana customer and the first to defend Carvana from anyone saying how bad they were. I have purchased 2 cars from Carvana over the past 5 years. I am going to provide an honest review of both experiences because I want to outline exactly how much the customer experience has degraded in my personal opinion.

1st Vehicle Experience (2019) 5 Stars, amazing experience
I purchased a 2018 Ford Fusion. This vehicle arrived as advertised, all exterior markings were clearly listed on the site and I could find no issues on the exterior that weren't marked. They delayed my shipping which I was perturbed about as I had paid good money for shipping. When the car arrived, the driver had a gift card he gave me for some restaurants which I thought was an amazing gesture. The driver unloaded my vehicle and scrapped the front and back bumpers off the ground because the car was low and the ground uneven. I was assured this would be fixed. I got the car home and realized there was dog hair all through the back seat. I contacted Carvana about both issues. They sent me $250 to get the car cleaned and footed the entire bill for repairs (almost $2000) to get it fully repaired. This earned my loyalty to their brand and decided I'd buy cars from Carvana in the future.
TL;DR; Amazing experience, driver was incredibly respectful and Carvana fixed every complaint I had and I felt actually went above and beyond to ensure I was happy including a swag bag.

2nd Vehicle Experience (2023) 1 Star at best, awful experience lost a customer
I purchased a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST 6 1/2 FT bed with DFM from their site. There were a few usual delays during purchasing nothing major. Delivery day comes. I receive a text from the driver with a 15-minute time frame for their arrival. Wait a full hour before texting the number, I get a response when the driver pulls into the parking lot 1 hour and 10 minutes after the arrival time they gave me. I'm out of their market so this involved me sitting in a parking lot for a full hour. No apologies, just a joke about how they needed to stop for an energy drink. I ignore it, shit happens... they unload the vehicle and I take it for a test drive. Everything seems fine, I sign for the vehicle and drive it home. At this point, I have a few parts waiting for the truck including a bed cover which oddly does not fit. I start doing some decoding of the VIN number and realize the truck is actually a 5 3/4 FT bed. I also notice there are some deep gouges in the paint that weren't marked (one side had no scratches at all marked) and there's also a dent in the tailgate. At this point, I'm a bit nervous but I've had good experiences in the past so I assume it'll all work out. I open a complaint about the bed, I wait to hear back. They offer me a $100 check which I feel honestly is a slap in the face. I ask to have the shipping fees waived as this clearly wasn't my fault and would like to return the truck. They refuse. At this point, I'm either out around $1200 ($190 to get it to my state, $520 to get it to me, and $520 to get it back for the return) or I take the $100 and just forget about it. I ask to have a manager call me. They assure me a manager will call in 24 hours as now it is getting close to my 7-day return window and I am pretty displeased. A manager never called me and today I finally just accepted this is my truck now and took the $100 as I didn't want to lose $1200 out of pocket.
As a side note, the truck was listed with DFM but does not have DFM. Another feature they miss annotated but I've decided contacting them about it is not worth the extra $100 as each time has been a significant hassle. I had seen this feature was missing and actually didn't want it anyway so it worked.
So now I move on to the next issue the gouges in the paint and the dent that weren't disclosed. I take pictures and submit a claim request through their website. The pictures are sent to their insurance company. In about 3 hours I am informed that these scratches while not disclosed anywhere are "normal wear" and are being refused to be covered.
TL;DR; The delivery driver was extremely disrespectful. The customer support has mocked me and belittled my problems. They sold me a truck with a 5 3/4 FT bed as a 6 1/2 FT bed that has multiple scratches and a dent they had no pictures of and did not disclose in any way. Their solution was to offer me $100 dollars and refused to allow me to send the truck back without losing money.

Safe to say I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Carvana. It's a shame really, they're usually cheaper than dealers around here and in the past have shown amazing customer response. However, the customer experience is horrible now. An online retailer that can't get the simple facts correct or mark obvious imperfections while refusing to work with the customer in any way does not deserve anyones business.

EDIT: Corrected information about when I saw they mis marked the DFM feature.

About 2 months ago my car randomly wouldn’t start. Wouldn’t even attempt to turn over, all lights would come on on the dash for accessory mode, but made no attempt to start.
Thought maybe it was that dang negative terminal which I had previously had issues with corrosion so dealt with that, but it persisted randomly.
Moved on to testing battery/startealternator just in case even though no clicking cause you never know. All fine!
Then thought electrical, maybe a short in a fuse or relay. Tested them all, and all good there!
Went to YouTube and google, learned about neutral safety switch. Next time it didn’t start I shifted to neutral and it started right up! Thought ok maybe it’s that, let’s test it again next time.
Did that and didn’t work! Then when shifting back and forth between park and neutral I noticed on the dash PRNDLE that it wasn’t showing I was shifting. Tested to make sure it was actually shifting (attempting to move car in neutral vs park) and it was actually shifting, computer just didn’t know!
Googled that issue and… TCM. Now my focus is at 132k miles and I thought I was out of warranty at 100k. I was not looking forward to that bill for replacing!
Ended up here on ford focus subreddit and found that the warranty was extended further for the TCM! Only drawback is the back orders on the part, but hell at least it’s covered.
Got my car into ford this week, they took 2 days to recreate the problem/diagnose (I never had any engine light/codes pop up at all during the issues). And they came back with what I suspected that it is the TCM.
Got my loaner ford escape today and we shall see how long it takes to get my TCM.

Just wondering if my 2019 Tundra has a “flood mode” like my 2010 F150 does. When I change the oil in my Ford, I press and hold the gas pedal on the floor while cranking the engine. It doesn’t start, and primes the system with fresh oil. When the pressure gauge goes up, I turn off the key, let off the pedal, and then start it up. My Tundra fires right up if my foot is holding the gas pedal on the floor, so I was hoping there is an easy way to prime and pressure up the oil system the next time I change the oil.

I bought a car 2 days ago from a dealership. It's a 2013 Ford Cmax.
I was driving along when all of a sudden an oil light came on it conked out and smoke was coming out the bonnet.
I got it recovered to the dealership and they have it in for inspection to "see what to do next".
The problem I have is they told me the car was serviced as part of the purchase on the day I bought it which Is clearly untrue as the oil is really dirty and looks as if it hasn't been changed in about a year as well as the air conditioning not working.
The garage is talking about engine swaps and other pretty big maintenance work to get the car running again but I've lost my trust in the dealership and I'd like my money back and my part ex car back. Does my right right refuse under the consumer right act apply here? And how do I go about doing this? I don't really want to have to take them to court because it costs a lot of money but I really just want my old car back and not to deal with it all

I recently decided to build a new PC and will be parting out and/or selling my current setup as a lot. Everything in here is relatively new as you will see from the parts list. The rig was mainly used for photo/video editing and some gaming. Absolutely no mining.
