Just to start with the most important information, I grow my own shroom which I know for certain to be good and safe (i microdose, and trip once a month without issue) I also have a scale which I regularly calibrate and know for certain is accurate. I’ve also been a trip sitter for quite a few people and never experienced anything quite like this. She’s not epileptic and has never had a prior seizure, and she isn’t on any medications or SSRIs.
My partner wanted to try shrooms so I started her off on what I thought to be a very light dose at half a gram. From the start she seemed to be just having some anxiety which is pretty normal, but she suddenly got very bothered by my presence and was very persistent that I leave, so I did. We were in a hotel room, so I just went to the bathroom and listened to make sure she was doing ok.
She started making some concerning breathing/gagging noises, so I went out to check on her and she wasn’t responding to anything I was saying, so I tried to sit her up. As soon as I grabbed her and started trying to pull her up, she flung herself on the ground (no head impact) and started to have what looked to me like a seizure. She was sprawled out shaking like she was very cold, wouldn’t respond to anything I said and her mouth started foaming.
At this point I decided help was needed so I told her to hang tight that I was calling the paramedics to come help her. As soon as I said that, she sat right up and said “no don’t call them I’m ok.” I told her we should at least get her checked, and she was very insistent about not going to the hospital, that she’s perfectly ok. So, i ended up not calling the paramedics. After that she was completely normal like nothing had happened, didn’t even seem like she was tripping anymore. She said she doesn’t remember anything that happened until I said I was calling the paramedics.
Wtf happened here? Can shrooms cause a seizure, and was this one? I’ve never experienced this and I’ve never heard of this happening, I didn’t think there would be any problems with half a gram. More recently she’s been asking to try a gram, but for hopefully obvious reasons I’m extremely hesitant

I chose three fundamental colors: the dim sky(Black-gray), the blood spilled in battle(Blood-red), and the ancient bronze-toned skin and metallic armor(Gold). This “World” is composed of these three colors, forever conveying the unforgettable essence of a classic. For the Base design: Once the colors were chosen, I began experimenting with various combinations. Ultimately, I decided to go with a black-gray base color with gold legends. In my eyes, this combination best showcases a grand and upright aesthetic. The larger keys are accented with blood-red, symbolizing heroism and brilliance. As for the legends, I opted for Greek characters with distinctive regional qualities. I’m in Florida and am going through a pretty tumultuous break up. This was part of a series of mental health crises where I experienced some very unsafe thoughts. As a result, I lashed out at him in the midst of a crisis. He proceeded to post text messages where my phone number is visible and screenshots with my full name in the caption. As a result, I got an injunction for a restraining order. I have been screen recording and screenshotting everything. The order has not been served yet but he is still posting. Background is that he is currently on probation for domestic violence, strangulation, and currently working through a custody agreement to gain custody back of his child.
Will it be likely my order is granted and what does that possibly mean for his current probation?

 | As I have mentioned in my previous reviews. I was able to pickup 8 different strains of Apex Cannabis flower last weekend and I have been trying a different strain each day. Yesterday I tried his Mac 1. submitted by Frankenberryjujitsu to Michigents [link] [comments] The bag appeal on this one is good. The buds are relatively small but they are dense and the trichome coverage is good. There’s nothing wrong with this flower but I am so spoiled with the looks of Apex’s other offerings so this one just seemed average. Bag appeal I would give an 8/10 The smell on this bud is pretty average as well. It smelled good but it’s not super loud or anything. It is kind of refreshing to just smell good weed when you take a whiff. I am so used to fruity and cake smells so this strain is kind of nostalgic for me. Smell is an 8/10. Breakdown of the Bud was good. The smaller popcorn size buds did have sine density to them and it does break down into a lot of smokable material. I actually rolled a joint last night instead of packing a cone and it rolled up nicely. Once lit the joint burned well and it did not have to be relit. I give this flower a 9/10 on the breakdown. The taste was much like the smell on this strain. It had a nice “good weed” taste. No fruit, gas or any other crazy terps. Like I said earlier smoking it was kind of nostalgic and reminded me of the weed I smoked 25 years ago before all the exotic strains were a big thing. I will give the taste a 8.5/10. The effects on this one is great. I got an immediate mood boost after a few hits. I got a little bit of energy and I just felt super relaxed and i really enjoy the effects of this strain. All of the worries and stress from my day were washed away and replaced with a euphoric happy high. I could see myself being very social when smoking this strain. It did not make me tired and there was definitely no couch lock. The effects on this flower are really great and I could smoke this stuff at anytime of the day and it would feel right. I give this one a definite 10/10 on the effects Although I found the looks,, smell and taste to be pretty average on this one. I still would highly recommend it is as a really nice anytime stain. The effects are really great and it’s impossible to be in a bad mood after smoking this Mac 1. My overall score for this strain is a 8.5/10. |

It’s my first time here so I hope I’m doing this properly.
I had my entire radiator replaced by a mechanic and everything seemed good. I ran out of coolant a few weeks ago and replaced the coolant 3 days ago. Reason why I didn’t replace coolant sooner is that my car just doesn’t over heat. Even when the radiator was cracked. It would go above midway heat when I sat and idoling but never when driving. Now the radiator is brand new.
Anyway… today my check engine light came on. It never comes on. The engine has always been perfect. I went to Costco and when I came out my engine turned on initially but was stuttering and then died. Then we kept trying to turn it on and it kept dying. I looked at the coolant reservoir and it’s almost totally gone after filling it 3 days prior. This feels so random. Nothing has happened to to the car. I called the mechanic and told him what happened and what I suspected and he immediately said “no that’s not possible”.
I don’t want to get fucked over here. I’m not currently working as I’m disabled and applying for disability. I have $100 to my name and don’t want them to fuck me over if it’s actually their mistake and something like that could happens when they replaced it.
Any info super appreciated! If anyone needs more info I’ll give it.

did i make the right decision? i think I did but I want some other opinions
to make things short, I got accepted into several good unis but in short as of now I have three active offers. science at queens university, undecided science (first year only) at york and commerce at york. As of now, I am not 100 percent sure what I wanna do. if I go down the science route my goal would either be PharmD or optometry. and obviously, as u guys know, there are only two schools for that in ontario and they are both far away from where I live and far away from queens as well. my plan is the following (please dont judge if anything sounds unrealistic, cuz I thought long and hard about this and I am honestly so stressed at this point) : I will go for undecided first year at york, I chose this because I get all electives first year which would help me in deciding what I like + transferring to another program at york OR outside of york wouldn't be a hassle in terms of credit transfers. If I do not continue with science, I am gonna try to transfer to either Mcmaster, Queens, or Waterloo for commerce. The reason as to why I find it "better" to dismiss the Queens offer right now is cuz I am sure I would achieve a higher GPA easier at York than at Queens, and that is a big factor in PharmD and other professional school admissions. Not only that this coming year anyways I need my GPA to be as high as possible because even if I do not continue with science I will transfer either way, whether that be programs or unis. In addition to that Queens is really far from Waterloo or UofT, and since the uni u do ur pre requisites at dont matter I find it a waste to go all the way to Queens only to move again to Waterloo or Toronto after 2-3 years. What do you guys think? I still have till 11:59 pm tonight to decide. I am honestly just really pissed that I might turn down Queens offer cuz I already turned down Mcmaster's offer (for another program). this all happened cuz i didnt apply to enough programs, but anyways, is this is a good plan or nah? I would love to hear other opinions.

As of now, I am not 100 percent sure what I wanna do. if I go down the science route my goal would either be PharmD or optometry. and obviously, as u guys know, there are only two schools for that in ontario and they are both far away from where I live and far away from queens as well. my plan is the following (please dont judge if anything sounds unrealistic, cuz I thought long and hard about this and I am honestly so stressed at this point) : I will go for undecided first year at york, I chose this because I get all electives first year which would help me in deciding what I like + transferring to another program at york OR outside of york wouldn't be a hassle in terms of credit transfers. If I do not continue with science, I am gonna try to transfer to either Mcmaster, Queens, or Waterloo for commerce. The reason as to why I find it "better" to dismiss the Queens offer right now is cuz I am sure I would achieve a higher GPA easier at York than at Queens, and that is a big factor in PharmD and other professional school admissions. Not only that this coming year anyways I need my GPA to be as high as possible because even if I do not continue with science I will transfer either way, whether that be programs or unis. In addition to that Queens is really far from Waterloo or UofT, and since the uni u do ur pre requisites at dont matter I find it a waste to go all the way to Queens only to move again to Waterloo or Toronto after 2-3 years. What do you guys think? I still have till 11:59 pm tonight to decide. I am honestly just really pissed that I might turn down Queens offer cuz I already turned down Mcmaster's offer (for another program). this all happened cuz i didnt apply to enough programs, but anyways, is this is a good plan or nah? Not all clerkships are equally competitive: if the clerkship office has been encouraging students to mass apply to district courts in flyover states, of course they are going to have a relatively higher success rate.
I am an atlanta area native and I think I would far prefer living in atlanta for three years to St. Louis. Emory seems like a better "fit" for me. I love the southern LAC vibe and I have spoken to tons of students and alumni that I have really enjoyed. I quite like the idea of being able to build relationships in atlanta during law school

Ex-Best friend of 15 years/roommate finally got her boxed up shit out of the living room. I don't care that I have no living room furniture. Her stuff being moved out 2 months before the lease is up means I'm at PEACE for the next 2 months. Her bedroom is a mess and smells AWFUL. She graciously decided to clean nothing including the piss stain from her dogs crate because her dog would be kept in the crate for so long he'd pee himself. She's staying with her boyfriend until she moves to Florida and then (from what she told me when we were friends) is going to break up with him after she settles even though he helped move all that shit today. Everyone in my life is so sick of her and we can't wait til she's out of state.

2023.06.09 00:10 InvaderBatflight Things I Wish were Fleshed Out More
I've listened to nearly all the audiobooks in the series available on audible, and there are a few things which I really wish were either different or given more attention in the series.
Bilby is cool and all, but I really really wish that the original Maxolhx AI inside of Valkyrie was allowed to become an actual character.
With the amount of plot and tension building up over the continued hostility of Valkyrie's native AI, and Skippy's suggestion to enable it to become more self aware as a method of potentially reasoning with it, I was anticipating the ship's AI to become a new character and foil to Skippy's arrogance towards non-Elder AIs. But that didn't happen. For whatever reason that I cannot fathom, the author decided to scrap that plot point entirely by literally killing Valkyrie's AI just after Simms had negotiated with it into a uncertain truce of sorts.
This was extremely disappointing, in my opinion.
#2 Captain Illiath deserves more.
As one of the few competent members of the Maxolhx species that isn't fanatically brain dead with their perceived manifest destiny, (which I swear has to be the result of some species-wide genetic modification gone too far in an effort to bio-engineer the ultimate alpha species with a psychologically ingrained disposition towards megalomania), I think Illiath as well as other members of the Maxolhx who were given little to no attention (such as that one who was an engineer on one of the main ships in the fleet that the merry band of pirates had stranded outside the galaxy) would be perfect for further understanding the Maxolhx and what their culture is actually like, after all, with billions and billions of them in many different colonies, it's unreasonable to think that every single one of the Maxolhx truly believe in the propaganda their government perpetuates.
#3 TRIPS, HOW WE NEVER KNEW YE, BUT YOU WILL BE MISSED.
Trips, or the Elder AI known as 003 (or was it 333? I don't know because they didn't live long enough to even matter!), was one of Skippy's peers and the only other non-hostile Elder AI we readers were given a glimpse of, and I was so excited for Trips to become part of the gang and see what new things they would bring to the table as an AI that is on par with Skippy in terms of raw power. I was waiting to see what another Elder AI would add to the whole dynamic of the merry band of pirates.
Then the Elder's pulled the plug and that hope was also quickly drowned in disappointment.
#4 The Elders should have kept out of it.
The Elders coming to intervene when an alert was finally received by them that something hinky was goin' on in ye ol' normal space time would have been an interesting and thrilling idea if it were executed better.
When we first discovered what the Elders physically looked like when the merry band of pirates discovered the body of an elder in a crashed elder starship, that was cool. The idea that the Elders were these huge, scary looking creatures with more animalistic features than the modern mostly humanoid star faring species was super intriguing.
Then when they returned it was like, the author forgot? and kind of made them out to be a bunch of old frail blowhards. Even though they went into why the process of de-ascending left them less than what they were, it was still very underwhelming.
Also the whole reason as to why they decided to Ascend was poorly justified.
I was expecting something like an Eldritch Horror of the cosmos was lurking outside the galaxy that was moving slowly yet inexorably to consume all known light in the observable universe was what made the Elders create the barrier, and when they realized that it would only be a matter of time before the barrier was eventually breached that they decided the only way to truly escape was to literally Ascend to another plain of reality entirely.
Instead we get the suggestion that something in another galaxy "might" have been a species whose technology was more advanced than the Elders'. Like, according to Skippy, the experiment conducted to contact the unknown entity outside the galaxy resulted in a sort of portal forming in which stuff began assembling itself without the Elders control and they panicked and blew it up.
Seems like a rather adverse reaction don't you think? What if they were just trying to set up a stable hub system in order to properly communicate with each other face to face in a safely controlled environment? Or maybe they were making a virtual reality simulator to face time with the Elders. We don't know! The Elders certainly didn't give off the impression that they knew either! (according to Skippy).
I don't know, the only reason I've stuck this long to this story is because of the genuinely fun moments that sometimes happen and R.C. Bray's vocal performance. I genuinely think that the author is either suffering from burn-out or are being pressured by their publishers to write more because of the amount of money the series is making. Maybe a combination of both.

Hello, I am currently studying computer engineering in the US, and I am about to start my final year of college this fall. I have studied abroad for a semester, and it has taught me that I don't really want to stay in the US after school. I don't like the US work culture and just don't feel like I fit in. Furthermore, I was born in China, but grew up in the US, so I don't remember anything about it. I think because of that, East Asian culture has always interested me more than Western culture, and I've always wanted to go to one and experience what it's like.
That's why I've looked into getting my master's degree abroad, but I am unsure of where I want to get it. I have thought about studying abroad to get it, and I have been looking at Asian universities in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and others, but I don't know which country would be the best place to get one. The biggest one I've thought about is Hong Kong, but I think that area is having some problems right now so I would be happy to go to any East Asian country to be honest. My idea is that after going to a university, I would try to find a job in that country because I don't want to work in the US, but the only language I know is English.
I think there are a few other issues that have me thinking it may not be possible. One is the amount of money I would need. Hong Kong is quite expensive, so maybe other countries would be better and cheaper. I just received a copy of the game I ordered online. When I hit start I was presented with 3 seemingly blank files. It showed no hearts, no name, no rupees. However starting a file showed me in the lost woods with 13 hearts and 999 rupees. Also no weathervanes to quick travel to. I tried deleting a file and it just sat on the delete screen. And now Im trying to do a complete reset of the cartridge and that’s been going for about 30 min or so and I’m still waiting. Does anyone know what happened and if so what i can do? We are surrounded by red/Bible thumping breeders, but we left Nola and don't plan on going back. We are early/mid 30s, like video games, a light amount of anime, riding bikes, and traveling. I'm the one whos looking more for friends than my husband. I also like horses (have 2 and used to do low level jumping but now my gelding is a retired potato), amusement parks and thrills, DISNEY or Universal Studios, and hiking.

Started out full time self employed in January, did some on the side in the last quarter of 2022 too. I have been keeping funds to cover my tax liability in a 'pot' within Mettle bank, which offers nothing special.
Currently I have a chunk of money there segregated as "last year's tax"which is the what my accountant has said it'll be without any reduction for expenses applied yet, or the % prepayment of the next tax bill. I'm due to sit down with my accountant soon and sort out the expenses I have on file and calculate what I need to pay after expenses etc, but even then I can hold these funds until January, and it seems like I should be putting them somewhere that it's working for me, rather than just enriching a bank.
I've seen some savings accounts and cash ISAs, but wondered if there was something else, or maybe a combination of accounts as next year I expect to have over 10k sat aside, and I see interest drops off over 10k in some accounts

Hey, I'm going crazy trying to find a goggle that works for me. It's weird because I'm just 5'7" / 170cm always feel smaller than the average guy, I don't have a huge face or nose or anything (I swear). I'm trying to find the perfect fit, I'll be wearing them 100% of the time I ride and will be getting prescription inserts for them. Here's what I've tried so far: (Just skip if you want tldr of what I need). TLdr is that POCs are the best fit so far, I just struggle to breath through my nose slightly pinched in them, so if you have any recommendations of the largest fitting goggles like POCs but with more nose room to breath, please tell me!1 Leatt's new MTB Iriz goggle, it fits like a YOUTH size, edges hit my eyeball no matter how I sat it, nose slot seemed design for tiny adult/ child noses, so it sits on the middle of mine pinching it shut. I even emailed them that I'm shocked how tiny a goggle it is and that I'm not a freak, they said it was the first they've heard about a fit problem like this. Is their engineering and test team all gnomes? What the heck.
2 Smith Squad XL, this went 5% better. They have 1mm more room on the inside width wise, but still hit the sides of my eyes and no way they're staying perfectly adjusted on the trail. The nose has more room than Leatts, but still not enough. The package says XL and they looked big in pictures, but in my hand I swear they put normal squads in my box, they're still claustrophobic on my face vertically too. How can average people be bigger than me but keep designing goggles this small??
3 The best one I've tried so far has been POC Oras. They're almost a perfect fit for me minus one thing. If you want max lens and inside real estate get these. They're the largest goggles I've yet tried, my only issue is the nose is just slightly the wrong angle and I struggle to breath through my nose with these on. These would be the ones I keep while I hunt for better.
