Hey there! Chaotic Neutral on Turalyon Alliance is in need of more solid DPS to add to the roster for Aberrus, we're a semi-hardcore guild that raids Tues/Weds from 7:30-10:30 pm EST and an optional day on Saturdays at the same time frame if there's enough interest (usually used for alts or extra prog at the beginning of the tier).
**Info:** Our guild is comprised of a range of players, from ancient vanilla Molten Core headbangers to players just starting the game in recent history. Our guild has been raiding on Turalyon since 2005. We raid mythic, but with a goal toward more casual progression. We expect raiders to play responsibly in their chosen role, but if you can do well with off-meta specs we don’t demand flavor-of-the-month class/spec combos.
Overall we are a bunch of older raiders who like having a relaxed raid environment while also seeing how far we can get into mythic before the next tier, pushing CE isn't something we promise but we can promise that we're not a hardcore play-perfect-or-get-kicked guild, we prefer to keep our chill raid environment that's been around for a long time.
We also ask raiders to give us a heads-up if something comes around that makes them unable to raid for a night or going forward, It isn't too important of detail since most members do this already but we've had some people just not show at all and it can create frustration if it's ongoing.

Prerequisites:
Come to raid prepared, with whatever resources you need to do your best
Let us know if you won’t be able to make raid, if we notice you have a tendency to flake out without saying anything, your spot may be revoked
Be aware of boss fights/mechanics
DBM/Big Wigs/MRT/alternative raid encounter add-on(s)
Weak Auras 2 is also recommended
Have a working microphone, and be prepared to orally communicate
Regularly attend raids
Be able to mesh and jive with the group (ideally no try-hards or massive egos, we're not like that.)

There's a common trend in modern day that goes back as far as the very first game, the game is either lacking or sucks compared to what you can do in the ancestor's memories.
AC1
In modern day you can only at most move around two rooms and press the interact button on certain things, zero stealth, zero assasination and zero parkour. Awful first impression for the general audience going forward.
AC2
Very minimal parkour at the beginning and the rest of the game is limited to NPC interations, (almost) zero parkour, zero stealth, zero assassination.
Brotherhood
Now there's some parkour in Auditore Villa but you can't do lot there for long, and the two other dungeons are on rail. Once again zero stealth and zero assassination.
Revelations
Move around a digital island and nothing else (Lost Archives wasn't part of Revelation at launch), zero parkour, zero stealth and zero assassination.
AC3
A bit more parkouring than the previous entries combined but still on rails and not as free form as what you can do in the ancestor's memories. Zero stealth and zero assassination, there's some combat though.
AC4/Rogue
Moving a facelss character around rooms and do nothing else but watch cutscenes or in-game NPC dialogue. Zero stealth, zero parkour, zero assassination.
Unity/Sindicate
Nothing but watch cutscenes. Zero parkour, zero stealh, zero assassination.
Origins
Can only interact with a computer to read some emails and keep with the modern day storyline, do some ligth exploration in your hideout and there's one instance of stealth/assassination during the second half of the game. Zero parkour, almost zero stealth and almost zero assassination.
Odyssey
During first half you can only interact with a few things in a building room and one NPC, and during the second you do some ligth exploration of a ruin. Zero stealth, zero parkour, zero assassination.
Valhalla
Can interact a few NPCs and use your computer and read emails/archives to keep up with the modern day storyline, you can freely move around your hideout but with not much else to do. You explore a ruin torwards the end. Zero parkour, zero stealth, zero assassination.
Conclusions, how do you make people not dislike modern day? Don't make it suck and be garbage to play compared to what you can do in ancestor memories. They should be as similar as possible.

I have played most of the Assassin's Creed games except origins, odyssey, syndicate, and rogue. I like the old games but valhalla was very boring and I never finished it. I've heard origins has a great map and bayek is a great character. I really like exploring open world games and from what ive seen the map us pretty big. A lot of people recommend Odyssey, but I want a game where you play as an assassin. I am from Greece but odyssey doesn't sound really interesting to me and I never liked learning about mythology in school.

Arkham origins is a good game and I've heard so much about it for years but no one has ever said how painfully condensed it is.
In one night
Batman meets Joker for the first time.
Batman meets Bane for the first time.
Batman meets Riddler for the first time.
Batman meets killer Croc for the first time.
Batman meets Madhatter for the first time
Batman meets Gordon for the first time.
Batman meets Penguin for the first time.
Batman meets firefly for the first time.
Batman meets deadshot for the first time.
Batman meets Barbara for the first time.
Joker meets Harley for the first time.
The world sees Batman for the first time.
All in one night
At least with Black Mask it seems like they've encountered each other prior to Christmas eve. I know people are going to say that Batman dose an unrealistic about in one night in every other arkham game however those games were built on a prior established history and would introduce 3 new characters each game on average. It really cheapens the Batman mythos that Asylum and city establishes, don't get me wrong, a lot of origins really works but having Bruce meet half his rogues gallery in 10 hours is beyond ridiculous. They should of had Joker and the assassins as the newbies with Batman having already encountered Mad Hatter, Penguin and Enigma during his first 2 years as Batman, the rest is okay, although Bane and Joker fighting for main villain status during there first outing is still painful to see as they both are deserving of main villain status in there own first encounter with Batman.
Sorry for the rant, I really like origins for the record and Cold Cold heart is perfect showing that each of Batman's rouges can have a massive impact on Batman.

TLDR backstory: My character is an elf who was bought as a slave before he can even remember, his blood was used in dark magic practices because of his connection to the fey and his purity as a child. Eventually he was saved my a member of an organization comprised of former slaves to help free other slaves he was taken in by the person who saved him and was trained as his apprentice.
Firstly, what should his name be, the theme for his apprenticeship is alcoholic drinks, his mentor is named Rum and his brother who studdied with him was named Whiskey, I was thinking of going with either Yeager or Brandy.
Secondly, what should his class and subclass be? Since I'm an elf and I have pro with longbow. I was thinking rogue assassin or scout, or maybe a gloomstalker ranger, I'm a sniper so I'll be keeping as much distance as possible while also maximizing damage.
Thirdly, Which elf subrace should I go? Was thinking wood elf since they seem the most sneaky with increased movement.
And lastly, what should his brought be? He's not a soldier, so maybe a bounty hunter? since he hunts slavers pro bono.

I have an 3rd level Elv Rogue with the Expert Level in the spec and Dexterity 4.

1. He can use pinpoint attack once per round against anyone without dex 4 (a Tiger has Dex 3), adding d6 to the damage
2. He can Mark the tiger for death for a +2 damage bonus as a novice assassin
3. He can do an extrad d6 with the Assassin Expert

In total, he can do 3d6+6 damage with a Perception 2.
Please do tell me I misunderstood something.

I have less experince in fights than my opponent, that's why I need your help.
It will be a fight till unconsciousness between my tortle spore druid and a caoraa assassin rogue. We are currently level 3, do I have a chance of beating the other player? As a spore druid I am more of a ranged fighter, the DM modified the class so Halo of Spores is half damage on a safe and using the wildshape feature/symbiontic feature requires a bonus action instead of an action. Please, I really want to give the other player a good fight or even win!
I don't know the rogue's stats but mine are Str8 Dex14 Con16 Wis17 Int10 Char8, no magic items allowed.
