So I (33m) am back in the job hunt for the 2nd time after being mislead into working for a company that had no transparency and decided to hire me at part time instead of full time as requested. Brought this up many times to the company, but nothing was being done. Not to mention the unsafe working conditions that OSHA / State would shut them down for a short time until things were resolved. So I plan to seek unemployment if possible. For now I am searching in an area where the job market is absolutely terrible. I live in a resort city where majority of the jobs are retail, hotel or food service related. I have experiance in retail, auto, information tech and food service. However I lack a driver's license due to health related issues. I am literally tired of being mislead by companies that just want to use me for a short time as if I were expendable. I nearly have 18 years of work experiance. I do have my own LLC, but I am self funding it until I can get enough to get it running. So in the meantime, I am seeking employment.
If anyone has some sort of experiance, stories, suggestions or advice then I am all ears. Love to talk. Any side gigs I can do until I find something? Let me know, because I have a lot bills and too much debt.

I spent hours condensing a nearly 2hr video into 12 minutes. Wake up the next day, and 26 clips are giving me an error and won’t play. I haven’t deleted any of the video clips I’m using in my draft and I have storage.
Please tell me there’s a fix to this.

After the recent posts about the lightning rail, I've taken another close look at the map and notice:

The Vulyar-Vydkar Gap

The rail runs from Krona Peak to Vulyar to Krona Peak, but is unconnected from the rest of the network. The most obvious connection would be Vulyar to Vedykar in central Karrnath, so the obvious question is why not?

• Maybe it is simply new construct, planned but not built.
• Maybe during the war, Cyre successfully harassed the route, preventing construction.
• Maybe Karrnath didn't have the funds to pay for constructing this route.
• Maybe Vedykar and Vulyar are rival cities. Vedykar doesn't want Vulyar to prosper.
• Maybe the Boromar Clan is bribing House Orien to instead build a route to Gatherhold.

Irontown to Krona, Taxes on Tariffs

An additional detail, maybe the rail around Irontown is privately owned, say by a Baron Bremmer.

• Bremmer has a nephew that operates a mine near Irontown.
• He privately financed the rail from Irontown to Krona Peak.
• Technically, Orien still owns the rail, but Bremmer has exclusive usage for 70 years.
• This section of rail a large success, The Iron Council was convinced to expand the rail.
• In exchange, The Iron Council would get to set import tariffs on goods transported by rail.
• They commissioned the line to Vulyar. Orien bore some cost and fully owns this section.
• Frustrating all, Bremmer imposed his own taxes on goods passing through his section of rail from Irontown on top of the Krona tariffs.
• Many items are smuggled off the rail in Irontown, onto Lake Dark, and up the river to the Mror Holds.
• Bremmer seems to turn a blind eye to smuggling, as long as his thuggish "rail inspectors" are bribed.
• Soured by the whole thing, the Iron Council refuses to expand the line from Vulyar as long as Bremmer has control of his section.

This allows you to play with greedy capitalists and backstabbing business deals near the Mror Holds. A nod of inspiration to the adventure "Dragonshard Sundown".

The Rekkenwood Curse

Looking at western Karrnath, notice that the rail goes straight through Rekkenwood, but carefully goes around the edge of Nightwood and Silver Wood. Korth to Rekkenmark was likely the first section of rail constructed here, done to connect the capitol with its military academy and to reinforce the border. In their haste, they built straight through Rekkenwood. However, I think something happened there that convinced Orien to never build through the heart of a forest again.

Thaliost to Flamekeep

Connecting Flamekeep and Thaliost would complete one large Western Circuit. I think the reason it has not yet is pretty clear.

• Thaliost was originally part of Aundair, its capitol city! So it stayed unconnected from Thrane.
• Thrane occupied the city, the Aundairian royalty fled by rail to Fairhaven.
• Initial efforts to build a connecting rail were thwarted by saboteurs loyal to Aundair.
• Thrane then questioned the sense of building a rail to Flamekeep, which could lead those same saboteurs straight to their capitol and spiritual center.

The Historic Zilargo Line

Looking at the map, the route seems to have a bit of extra squiggle in Zilargo. Considering the Zil gnomes are the masters of elemental binding:

• The first rail was little more than a track for carts winding through the foothills of the Seawall Mountains.
• The Zil gnomes bound elementals to these propel carts, especially air elementals from the Howling Peaks.
• King Galifar commissioned Cannith to study and further develop these carts, operated by Orien.
• The rail along the Seawalls has been expanded to accommodate modern coaches, but still winds among the foothills.
• To this day, the lightning rail must slow down in Zilargo.
• This would make it a prime target for robbery.
• Luckily, in Zilargo, crime is illegal... even before it happens.
• Faint traces of the original track along the Howling Peaks lie discontinued.

The T-Bend

• There is T-Intersection between Gatherhold and Metrol, though the Metrol side is likely disconnected now.
• There is another bend in central Breland between Wroat and Stailaskur in operation.
• The shape of the T is more likely a smoothly bending triangle.
• Still, this section requires a skilled and attentive conductor.
• If, say, a train going full speed on the mainline mistakenly took the curve north, it would derail.
• A derailment at this junction would disconnect Sharn and Wroat from the rest of the rail.

Connecting Other Territories

• There are rumors of a line connecting Graywall to Wroat, but no one believes it. Droaam would benefit from trade. Ending the line at Galethspyre is a slightly less outrageous version of the rumor.
• Building a line into Draguun (Rhukaan Draal) is achievable through the Marguul Pass. But first Haruuc must appease the warlords and suppress the raiders that make their homes in the mountain ravines.
• The Valenar are too proud. They'd rather ride by horseback anyway. Lyrandar is deeply embedded in their government and so airship is poised to become the means of long transportation.
• Newthrone, in Q'Barra would like to be connected, it's just not feasible. Undaunted, King ir'Kesslan will still commission adventurers to scout a (hopeless) way.
• Orien knows better than to expand into the Eldeen, after their previous experience with woods. From most "civilized" towns, Lake Galifar is the best way to travel.

I just moved into my dads house 5 hours from where i used to live. I moved with my girlfriend, and my boxer mix Momo (2F). she’s leash reactive and gets overly excited around people, and sometimes dogs. luckily, she’s doing very well around my dad and is listening to me very well. my dad has 2 dogs, Zip (M) and Lulu (3F). Zip is a little bit of an asshole (resource guards) but he lets Momo smell him and be near him without problems.
Lulu is a 85lbs lab retriever mix, and a very (VERY) big sweetheart. Momo is about 60lbs, so Lulu is a good deal bigger than her. Momo lets Lulu sniff her, but whenever Momo tries to sniff her Lulu freaks out. Momo does kinda antagonize her, but I know she’s just trying to play. They keep fighting over Momo wanting to sniff her (Lulu starts it), and they’ve fought over toys a couple times (only when playing fetch).
Any tips to help Lulu be more comfortable around Momo? Right now they’re mostly coexisting, but having pretty bad fights. They’re okay with being in the same room together and walking next to each other (even laying down close together), but as soon as momo pushes her personal space they get into a fight. We’ve only been here since Wednesday night, so i’m hoping they’re just trying to get used to each other still. I just hate seeing my baby get her ass beat.
Also want to add: Lulu loves me. she loves being around me and getting scratched. Momo doesn’t really care about attention like that, she’s very independent.

I'm somewhat new to MTG but have made a couple successful decks that are both competitive and fun to play. I've been dying to build a deck around Braids ever since reading the Draftsim writeup about her and finally got around to making it a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I've simply been underwhelmed with the decks performance and really can't reliably make anything happen on the field.
I really want to get some experienced eyes on this deck to help teach me what I've done wrong with the build.
My main strategy for the deck was:

• casually competitive, enough to win at the card shop without just steamrolling
  
• to be able to reliably hit her trigger through creature generation and graveyard recursion.
  
• to play heavy defense through stax pieces that will slow opponents and dissuade being attacked as she's low on heavy hitters
  
• to rely heavily on drain effects as the main mechanic for damage (along with a few bombs like Sheoldred)
  

Every time I've played the deck, she's just kinda floundered. I'm not getting reliable mana, I'm not really doing much damage, I really have no answers to attacking creatures, and token decks essentially make her useless as they have plenty of creatures to sacrifice and easily deny me the braids trigger.

With the new update out, I transferred a bunch of Pokémon to Scarlet and made a Trick Room team with a bunch of old faithfuls ready for online battles, both casual and competitive. The team is as follows: Shiny Umbreon (From GO) Galarian Slowking (From Sword) Shiny Sylveon (From Sword) Shiny Goodra (From trade in Home, from Sw/Sh) Shiny Dudunsparce (Originally from Sword, evolved in Scarlet) Gastrodon (From Sword)
Every time I try to search for battles with it in Casual or Ranked, it keeps saying "There is an issue with at least one Pokémon on your team." None of them have the same item, and all of them had their moves formatted. As far as I know, they are all legit, as I can vouch for all but the Goodra since I caught all but that one myself in their respective games. I tried switching out the Sylvan for a caught-in-game Iron Hands, but I had the same problem. Nearly all of them are Hyper-Trained from prior games. Many of them have a Battle-Ready symbol from Sw/Sh. I'm not sure what's preventing me from using them. Any ideas?

I’ll jump right into it and provide as much info as I can. My girlfriend has an acquaintance that owns a wine shop, who is leaving for some time and would like us to run and “take over” her business while she is away. She has repeatedly mentioned in the past that she wants to partner with my girlfriend in running the business, with plans of eventually stepping away at some point. We stopped in a few days ago and this is when she told us about her vacation, and offered the opportunity to run the shop while she is gone. Perhaps after she returns and we have had some time to handle the business we will discuss future plans of either buying it completely or a portion of it and reducing her ownership stakes. We both work in wine/beverage and have talked about having our own business for quite some time now, and this honestly seems like if it was worked out right it could be a great opportunity with minimal risk - again if it was worked out right. She is leaving on June 15th and would like us to take over before then. We are meeting later today where I will ask to see balance sheets, list of assets, sales for the past two years, any outstanding invoices or fees, upcoming license/permit expirations, etc. My main concerns are keeping everything tight legally, ensuring that we both will have a form of wage - again legally paid to us - and how liability will be applied while she is away. We want to run the business during this time, not own it, however we are wary that without a properly worded contract that we will either become liable for something we were unaware of, or that we may not have claim to any revenue and profit earned and therefore no wage. As far as monthly expenses go, it is a shared space with multiple businesses. I know the rent is around $3k, and according to the current owner there are no CAMS, which surprises me as I’d still expect wateelectricity/etc to be paid each month. Card processing fees, insurance, and internet would be the remaining expenses. Sales for May were roughly $8.5k, with this time of year being the slower season. No wine club at the moment, social media presence could be worked on - in other terms there is room for growth and sales could easily be pushed higher. We are confident and comfortable with the potential, we just don’t want to get burned on liability or not receiving a wage. What else should I be looking at or be wary of? What would an honest and transparent contract look like? Let me know if there is any other info I left out and I can try to provide it. thank you!

It's been a terrible week for me and I finally got a $60 order for about 30 items, 2 stores, 2 shops 6miles. Finished shopping for bo th stores in 30minutes and went to deliver the first order. Delivery instructions said "bring inside house, disabled" so I got there and waited,,, and waited,,,, and waited. I was abt to contact customer care after 15minutes of waiting to cancel but then an aid came and tried getting in contact with her too, still no answer. I rlly didn't wanna cancel bc I rlly needed the money but after another 10mins of waiting I went ahead and contacted customer care, which took another 15 minutes to cancel.
AS SOON AS I CANCEL, the lady comes out and gets mad at me bc she was sleeping and didn't hear me ring. 🙄 I told her I had waited 40minutes already and rang/called so many times and she just waved her arms and scoffed at me as if it's my fault she was sleeping til 2pm. The aid even said she had confirmed the appointment time she had the day before so she should have been up for that anyways.
$60 order turned into $27, including a $10 bump for my time waiting. Yay for free food but I would've much preferred the money rn :(
Edit: when I contacted customer care, they said "is the door unlocked, are you able to go in and leave the items inside yourself" why tf would I do that 🙄

Man Im so annoyed I just opened a shop and sold 25 t shirts if an item and then another etsy stop stole my exact design and even my mock ups. I look at their page and its literally just stolen designs of a bunch of etsy shops. I cant afford to run ads online but that shop is and now they are taking sales from me since their item comes up online. Nothing I can do right?

For example in the english premier league we have a pyramid structure and you earn the right to play in the league.
I don't know much about American sports so forgive me but it does seem like a closed shop why shouldn't a team from a small town have a chance to play NFL or NBA.
If my team got relegated from the Premier League the owner would lose hundreds of millions and the players would have salary reduced this makes it more exciting and every game matters.
I'm a fan of a club who tried to introduce a "Super League" this is basically a league without relegation and yes the owners are American (FSG who own the Red Sox).
I know it won't ever happen in America but it would be interesting.
