Any input on this will be appreciated, I live in TN. Been interested in starting my own small home appliance repair business, and was wondering how to go about filing for an LLC. I've seen where you can do it online thru LegalZoom. But also have been told it would be best to talk to a lawyer. Looking to get myself a fairly budget zwift Setup for approx £500.
I was previously a personal trainer and powerlifting and for my CV sessions I would also use a wattbike at the gym I worked at. I've since built a home gym and currently use a mid range spin bike I managed to pick up cheaply.
I'm starting to get a bit bored of "spin sessions" and looking to get myself a setup for zwift. I'm very competitive and the whole racing with and against people will be incredibly motivating for me, alongside the stats and watching progression. I currently have no intention of cycling outside and don't have anything cycling related other than a budget HR strap I previously used for running.
I've seen a few budget smart trainers used and hey seem to be affordable and well reviewed but they have a limit of 700/800 watts. I'm a fairly big strong guy (6ft 3, 110kg) so short bursts of power are definitely a strong point and I know I can max that out and some change. How much would that limit me?
I'm needing advice on a bike and then a smart trainer. Budget could stretch to £600 as id be able to recoup 100/150 for the spin bike I have currently.

I'm building 50' of retaining wall 48"-24" high. Is it possible to hand tamp the footing with good results? Specs say a min of 6" gravel. I'll use a compactor to fill it but I have to rent it for $70/day and would like to get the first layer in before renting it so save some cash.

I’m going to be in London for 6 months on a music project. Funds are limited.
It’s about a year away so it gives me some time to gain some knowledge and maybe make some connections.
My ideal would be to find some other musicians or writers in the area which may give me a place to crash sometimes for a cheaper rent in return for playing or helping with songs or story development. I’d work in a studio or whatever in exchange to recording work as well. Or multiple roommates that aren’t too crazy with cheaper rent. I don’t need anything fancy but I do need clean and chill vibes.
For the record, I’m an older educated professional who’s trying to throw love towards my music. I’m calm and respectful. Just not a lot of cash to throw around.
Any ideas or connections would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter's (17f) first girlfriend just broke up with her over the phone. They had been dating for 18 months or so. She came into my home office sobbing and literally just cried on my shoulder for 15 minutes. She then told me about it. I didn't say anything more than "I love you" and "I'm here for you". Here's my question.. for those that have been broken up with (whether anticipated or not) or had a breakup that hurt emotionally, what did others do to make it better or worse for you? What did they say or do?
I'm sitting here listening to her in her room listening to sad music and my heart aches for her. I know she's young and this is the first breakup, she'll eventually get through it. There's so much I want to say to her, but not sure they are the right thing. One of the things she's worried about is that we live in a rural/small town, there aren't many out lesbian teens around.
I've actually never have had a break up. My first boyfriend died and and the many years between him and my now-husband of 27 years, I dated probably 4-5 times and no more than 3 dates. No emotional break ups at all.

I went over to hook up with someone. We had talked for months and we had a good time once before the only other time we hooked up.
Once we started having sex, they started talking strangely, saying they were into violating boundaries, and led me to believe they were not being honest about their history/status/intentions. They also said that they were hoping i wouldnt notice if they took the condom off. I tried to redirect, tell the person to stop or get a new condom, asked for a break multiple times but they didnt. After a bit longer they stopped but i was crying and they still kept groping me/touching me. They were my ride home.
I got dressed and they got on top of me again and wanted to go again, but listened when i said no this time. They had also mentioned wanting to do more/worse so I remember feeling lucky they didnt rape me. But then when i confided in a friend they said it was rape. And it feels really difficult to understand and comprehend that it could have been “that bad”
I think it was intentional, they picked up and restricted my legs and wouldnt let me leave. But i keep trying to over analyze myself cause i really didnt expect it and i said yes at first so it was really confusing

Hey guys! My situation is the following: I (25F) have a bf (21M) and we’ve been together for almost 3 years. He is extremely insecure about his body being skinny due to sickness. It goes so far that he says that he hates looking at himself in the mirror and he says that he hates his body. He is such a wonderful and beautiful man and I want to find a way to make him see that as well. I compliment him everyday but his insecurities are a huge monster which I would like to fight for him. I have a 18 month old daughter who is my entire world. She is my rainbow baby who I love and my entire heart bursts every time she looks at me. Because of this maybe I am being too sensitive… or no?
My family goes out to eat at very nice restaurants. I’m talking fine dining, white table cloths, etc. My family always invites me, my husband, and my daughter to go out to eat. It’s always a lovely meal except the last time I can’t get out of my head. My daughter was in a highchair eating and being a normal 18 month old would occasionally toss/throw her unwanted bits of food on the floor. My grandmother immediately saw this & said:
Grandmother: “Why do you not tell her to stop? Isla NO!” Me: “Because she does not know the word no at this age. You have to redirect her.” Grandma: “Says who? My children never threw their food.” Me: “Says pediatric science and behaviorists.” Grandma: “Well I respectfully disagree. She needs to learn the word no!”
I immediately became so agitated because I am the first of my generation to gentle parent. I am the one who I breaking generational trauma that I refuse to let bleed into my daughters life or future. So, telling my daughter “NO!” frustrated me because she’s an 18 month old baby. You have to redirect her to something else such as a coloring book, toy, etc. Yelling NO at a young child does absolutely nothing but upset them.
Or am I overreacting?
Okay next thing… My families homes… they treat them like museums and not homes. For instance, the pillows on the sofa? Do not even think about using them or putting your body weight on them. Those are for decoration only! Just took a shower? The steam in the bathroom can get on the walls so my mother goes behind and wipes the walls so the steam doesn’t stay on the walls. I could go on and on… okay so I am staying with my family over the Fourth of July with my daughter and husband. I have told my mother that she does need to baby proof her home because my daughter is walking, grabbing things, opening drawers, etc. completely normal toddler behavior. My mother is saying she “can’t turn her house upside down and put everything away so if she is touching something just tell her NO!” I’m like oh here we go…. then my mother is saying to bring a play pen and just leave my daughter in the play pen when we are doing something. I told my mother that she is a toddler and does not want to be confined in a play pen. She wants to play, walk, run around. My mother then said “well maybe she just cries in her playpen because she knows you’ll take her out of it. You’re teaching her to get what she wants!” I’m like…. no a 18 month old child does not know manipulation.
Okay that being said… am I overthinking, overreacting, etc. I grew up in a home where screaming at a child, hitting a child for discipline, and verbal abuse was how things were handled. I am breaking the generational trauma with my daughter.

Years ago I worked in a nursing home that had a resident cat (Pumpkin) that lived there. He mostly just slept on the desk at the nurses station or laid in front of the windows sunning himself. On occasion Pumpkin would suddenly become “attached” to a specific resident (sit outside their door, or in their room), anytime this happened, it wasn’t long before the resident would pass away. On one occasion, we sent out a pt for a minor illness, and while she was gone he slept in her bed. Unfortunately, she suffered a massive stroke while in the hospital and passed away. The next day, Pumpkin was back to doing his normal cat things.

I'm new to Skyrim, so I don't exactly have a massive collection of mods. When I enter Eastmarch from Whiterun (Valtheim Towers direction) the game crashes to desktop the exact moment I step on the bridge over the river. The market was bustling with action. Dragons stepped on each other’s talons and tails. Wings getting tangled with passersby trying to avoid the crowd. One dragonet watched the commotion from under a cart, where the owner was trying to grab any dragon’s attention to attempt to catch a sale. The dragonet’s eyes glazed across the crowd, for a chance to strike.
There!
A small coconut bounced around the ground, ricocheting from dragon to dragon. It rolled conveniently to a standstill in front of the cart, and just as the tiny dragon was about to pounce, a wandering merchant picked it up. The dragon inspected the coconut, rolling it a few times over in his claws before putting it into a side pouch wrapped around his upper forearm and walked away, to somewhere else in the plaza.
The dragonet stuck his head out from under the cart to try to catch a glimpse of the coconut stealing dragon, but he was nowhere to be seen in the waving sea of scales.
“Hmph! That was my coconut!” The dragonet grumbled quietly to himself. “The one chance I get all day…” he said as his voice trailed off as his stomach also grumbled for food. It was getting late, and if he got home after dark, Ma wouldn’t be happy. He let out a little sigh, and dashed out from under the cart. The cart owner didn’t notice him, nor acknowledge him being there if he did, as he was preoccupied with whatever he was trying to sell, which was a variety of fruits stacked on each other.
The dragonet dismissed the thought of stealing any fruit, as he didn’t have a taste for them and didn’t want the owner to notice. The walk home was boring as it ever was, but something caught his attention. A subtle noise came from a pile of crates half-covered in the darkening light, but when he got close, a shadow took off. He tried to see where it went, but now since it was dusk, everything casted a shadow. Whoever, or whatever was hiding, did not want to be found.
He didn’t give it a second thought, but the feeling of eyes on the back of his neck lingered. When he got home, he hurried inside, and was not a second too late. Just as the door closed, his mother stormed down the stairs leading to the front room where he stood.
“Rattle, yout late,” she inquired, her tone flaked with fury. But I’m not late, Rattle thought to himself, but knew it would be the wrong thing to say. “I’m sorry, Ma,” he whispered slightly, trying to make himself even smaller than normal. “Do not call me ‘Ma’ ever again,” she replied coldly, her getting louder with each word. “My name is Mamba,” she finished, at the point of almost yelling.
“Y-yes, Mamba,” Rattle squeaked. This is why he never wanted to upset mother. Anything he did she turned against him, even if it was in her favor to start with. “It’s time for dinner,” Mamba exclaimed as she headed for the kitchen, with fury in each step on the way. Rattle followed behind her, but was trying to keep as much distance between them.
Rattle sat himself down, and stared blankly down at the blood-red wooden table in front of him. Mamba laid a cooked vulture on the plate sitting on the other side of the table, directly opposite of Rattle, and then she took a brown-yellowish lizard out from one of her many pouches and dropped it on the wood in front of him. Mamba immediately started ravaging the vulture, ripping hunks off of it and swallowing them whole. Rattle just stared at the lizard gloomily, until Mamba was done picking the flesh off of the bones on the vulture.
“Eat,” she ordered Rattle. He looked up at Mamba, at her black scales trickling down her neck which reflected the light coming from the oil lamp, at her battle-worn face that radiated impatience and vengeance. Rattle looked down at the lizard, when he picked it up with 2 talons and ripped it in half with a single bite. He swallowed the first half, then the second.
That’s when the pain he knew would come started marching its way through his body. He clutched his stomach, and swallowed as he almost immediately threw up. “M-may I be e-excused,” he managed to get out. Mamba glared at him, her swirling black eyes boring into his. “M-Mamba,” he corrected himself. “Yes, you may go,” she said, her talons tapping the table in wave-like patterns.
Rattle wasted no time as he dashed out the kitchen’s back door and into the alleyway. The stars were out fully now, seemingly judging him from the sky above. Rattle clutched the side of a barrel that was the closest to him, and threw up whatever he managed to eat in the past two days into it. Rattle collapsed onto the steps leading to the back door, and tried to regain control over himself. The alleyway around him bobbed up and down in his vision, as the pain in his stomach did not want to go away. The many times this has happened does not make it feel any better.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, he felt able to move his own body and his head stopped spinning. He walked back inside the house, which was now pitch darkness. It did not matter though, as he knew his house by heart. After climbing the stairs and entering his room, he collapsed onto his bed, or what counted as one. Some rags and blankets piled into a corner is what accommodations he was given, along with a lonely 2 layered bookshelf which in itself shouldn’t be standing, given the state it is in.
Rattle immediately fell into sleep, the exhaustion overpowering any actions he tried to do, which at the moment he didn’t mind since all he wanted was sleep. But even in sleep, horrors had him in their cold grip. As he slept, unescapable nightmares swallowed him. The creatures and dragons haunting him in his sleep, with most of them being Mother, and another dragon who he has never seen before, but seemingly always stalks him in his sleep.

My apartment manager refused to re-lease the apartment stating we exceeded the occupancy limit for the state, (2 adults 3 kids in 2 bedroom). I asked for an extension through May, set to terminate 13th, they granted the extension and prorated the rent for the normal rate. We found a house available for July so we inquired about another extension through June. They said it hadn’t preleased so they agreed to a date change through June, signed 16th of May. Got a surprise bill an extra 650 tacked on for June. Asked about it, they said we informed you on May16th, was sent at the end of our email chain inquiring about the date change, I was already on my way down to initial and missed it. The contract, states, “If, at least 5 days before the advance-notice deadline referred to in Par. 3, we give you written notice of rent increases or Lease changes that become effective when the Lease term or renewal period ends, this Lease will automatically continue month-to-month with the increased rent or Lease changes.” I laid this out and they refuse to budge stating I got a notice the 16th and quote the contract, “..this lease will automatically continue month to month with the increased rent or lease changes. I told them, you left out the first half of that sentence in the contract, there’s a time sensitive notification period that was not performed. I don’t want to hand over 650 if I’m not contractually obligated to pay it, as far as I can tell the apartment failed to do their due diligence on giving the required notice stipulated in the contract. This probably happened because the advance notice letter they sent basically said get a 3 bedroom or get out. It did not include regular info like increased rent or fees for month to month. Question, should I cut a check for what the contract shows I owe and take them to a claim court when the bill comes or pay it and seek recovery payment later?

I (29F) was asked to be a bridesmaid for my best friend (30F) with three other friends of hers. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to be with her in her special day. I’ll start this by saying our friendship took a turn after her away hen (in the uk, some brides want to have a home bachelorette and one abroad). I’m not going to get into the hen party in this post because it would be even longer than it already is. I would be here all day if I told you every terrible thing she did or said. The list is long. I’m a people pleaser and I now see that I was her “yes man”. I would validate her feelings regardless of my own which is stupid now that I look back at it, but after the hen party dramas I grew some balls and started standing up for what I believed in and stopped agreeing with her when I thought differently etc which did change the dynamic of our relationship understandably. The 6 months from the hen party to the end of our friendship was honestly one of the most stressful times of my life. She would bitch and moan about the other bridesmaids to me all the time. Saying she didn’t want them as bridesmaids anymore. She told me that no one was to make a statement on the day of her wedding, only her and the groom, which again is understandable to some extent. This included her guests wearing any designer clothes. She then went onto say that she chose the bridesmaids dress colour so that we would blend into the background. Her expectations of us were so so high that I thought that if I even went to the bathroom on the day I would not be doing enough/ would ruin her day by missing something. I texted her that I wanted to talk about her exceptions of me and go over a few things we had already discussed. I made it clear that I didn’t want to do this via text because of how badly it ended after her hen party and she was open to a discussion which was great. She asked if I could to the next day which i unfortunately couldn’t do. I told her I was working all day, then had an appointment and then had a call with my therapist booked in. To confirm this was conversation was at 10.30pm, so I put my phone on DND and went to sleep. I woke up at 5am to a text that I found very demanding. She said she needed to know now and couldn’t wait, that she was too stressed to be stressed about this as well. She also told me that she suspected I was delaying things so I could talk to my therapist about her. Both of these comments just made me snap after the 6 months of hell. That MY therapy session was about her, that everything was about her and I couldn’t have a life?? Like I said I didn’t want to do this via text but at this point it was 5am and she didn’t really give me another option but to respond via text. I gave her a list of everything I wanted to discuss (even though I had already told her there wasn’t anything we hadn’t already discussed). I made two sarcastic comments in the text, not my finest moment but I don’t regret them because I was at breaking point. I told her that “her wish was my command” and that I wanted to avoid any misunderstanding by doing this via text “but it was obviously too late for that”. Oops. She then came back to me with this woe is me “in so stressed, I’m all alone” etc text and I broke. It was like I couldn’t have my own emotions without her felling like they were taking away from hers. It was all about her all the time because she was getting married next year… I was sitting at work crying with stress, heart rate crazy high and I knew I needed to prioritise myself and I decided to step down. I wouldn’t do it by text normally but I felt like I wasn’t really given any other option. I told her I still loved her and that I wanted to remain friends, but that I needed to step down to look after myself. That I would leave the ball in her court and would understand whatever decision she would make, if she wanted to remain friends. She took it gracefully and we agreed to leave it there and chat in a few weeks. She then text me ending the friendship, that she understands she played a part in me stepping down and a bridesmaid but that she didn’t need to hear my reasons why. I feel like it was a big jump from 2 sarcastic comments in a text asking her to talk to ending a 10 year friendship. So I want to know if you think I was wrong for how I told her I didn’t want to be a bridesmaid anymore

2 months ago I slipped at home and managed to fracture my spine. Stupid accident , slippy wooden floor and socks. I am recovering well. I was sent for a dexa scan to check for early onset osteoporosis. I should get the results in a few weeks time. For the past few months I noticed my eyesight was deteriorating so booked myself in for an eye test and booked the optional OCT test. I just use off the shelf glasses. The last eye test I had was 3 years ago. The optician showed me the picture of my left eye now compared to 3 years ago, and told me not to worry but to go straight to the emergency eye hospital that day. He sent through his report- there was a ‘mass’ behind my eye. I was given many tests and saw a few different people. As it was late in the evening they booked me to come in first thing the following morning for a CT scan. I couldn’t have it that night as I needed a cannula for inject dye into my veins. After spending the following day in the hospital being seen by more people I was eventually told that they would book me in for an mri scan, and sent home. The final doctor said it could be a bleed or a cyst or something more sinister. So still no idea what is going on. The following morning I had a call to say I have an appointment next week with a consultant. So I have the waiting game and it’s quite scary.

The Story Of Alasha is one of the first verses in the Book Of Land, the holy book of the Grandchildren Of Alash. It reads as follows:

However, in his weakened state, the healing went wrong and the young man lost his body, simply becoming the essence of the land, mist in the shape of a man. Alash was deeply disappointed for his failure in his promise but the young man thanked him, for he was now saved from certain death, was he not?
As a revitalised, god made vessel, the man, now Alasha, the Son Of Alash, returned to the mainland, where he told our predecessors not to worry, frightened as they were about his form and about what happened to him and the suffering of our land and god and how we must fight the desert and protect the land that keeps us alive. If we do so, he said, we shall recieve many a gift and bountiful harvest. Upon saying these words he plunged into the ground and all around the people sprung up flowers and trees, Alasha joining his father forevermore under the ground.
Our ancestors then, seeing this miracle, realised that if a being this strong needed help, help must be given, and so began our religion, our crusade to save Alash.
