I'm nearing the end of my MDMA-assisted therapy for social anxiety disorder clinical trial period, and I was wondering if any of you had any experience with what happens when the trial ends. The protocol is 2 dosing sessions with 6 follow up integration sessions, and I'll be attending my 5th integration next week. The MDMA + therapy combination has allowed me to connect with the therapists more quickly and on a deeper level than I ever imagined possible. My concern is that I feel like I've made years-worth of progress and am on the brink of having a major breakthrough, and I don't want to stop here.
The trial enrollment paperwork specifically says that I cannot continue to work with the study therapists going forward, and alludes to helping me find another therapist if necessary, but I dread having to start the process over with someone else. With MDMA is still about a year away from FDA approval, I would either have to take a big break (worried that would kill the momentum I have) or work with a new therapist without the MDMA element. Neither of these options appeal to me and I worry it will be just like all the other unsuccessful therapy attempts I've made prior to this.

I (14 yo male) started really getting into soccer about 5 months or so ago. I have a golf net in my backyard and some cones that i used to train nearly every day. I now also go every other day up to my local pitch and practice basics on a u16 goal. I have some questions, and I wanted to see if you guys had some ideas. 1. Should I be worried about doing specific drills, or just using the ball often? 2. Should I join a club, or my high school soccer team? And if a club, would they let me on the team even if I wasn't that good? 3. Should I focus on my strengths, and how i can use them, or my weaknesses, and how to elevate them? So I (33m) am back in the job hunt for the 2nd time after being mislead into working for a company that had no transparency and decided to hire me at part time instead of full time as requested. Brought this up many times to the company, but nothing was being done. Not to mention the unsafe working conditions that OSHA / State would shut them down for a short time until things were resolved. So I plan to seek unemployment if possible. For now I am searching in an area where the job market is absolutely terrible. I live in a resort city where majority of the jobs are retail, hotel or food service related. I have experiance in retail, auto, information tech and food service. However I lack a driver's license due to health related issues. I am literally tired of being mislead by companies that just want to use me for a short time as if I were expendable. I nearly have 18 years of work experiance. I do have my own LLC, but I am self funding it until I can get enough to get it running. So in the meantime, I am seeking employment.
If anyone has some sort of experiance, stories, suggestions or advice then I am all ears. Love to talk. Any side gigs I can do until I find something? Let me know, because I have a lot bills and too much debt.

To preface this, I am fully aware that the dynamics are very different in terms of both gliding and generating power from the wind.
My question is whether someone who has never been on water on any device, would some of the “standing on an unstable platform in water balance” transfer? There is a place that has windsurfing lessons near me, but the closest wingsup/surf/foil place is 2 hours away. My thought is I can take some windsurf lessons to get comfortable standing/etc on the windsurf board to get the most out of my eventual wing lesson.

 | I got this forester from a customer of mine who after nearly twenty years of owning this car didn’t want to pay to fix the head gaskets. Since the dealer only offered her a couple hundred as a trade in she gave it to me (my shops been working on this car for 10+ years). So I rebuilt the engine. The seats and carpet were torn and stains after here and her wife raised two kids in this car. So I replaced them with heated leather seats and black carpet out of a junked XT we had at the shop. I then swapped the rear drums for the disc setup off the XT and installed a 3” lift and 205/85 r16 M/T tires that actually fit without spacers! (With the assistance of a hammer and some trimming and they barely fit) it’s been an amazing car for back country exploring and Daly driving through the destroyed hellscape that is San Feansisco roads. I just moved into my dads house 5 hours from where i used to live. I moved with my girlfriend, and my boxer mix Momo (2F). she’s leash reactive and gets overly excited around people, and sometimes dogs. luckily, she’s doing very well around my dad and is listening to me very well. my dad has 2 dogs, Zip (M) and Lulu (3F). Zip is a little bit of an asshole (resource guards) but he lets Momo smell him and be near him without problems.
Lulu is a 85lbs lab retriever mix, and a very (VERY) big sweetheart. Momo is about 60lbs, so Lulu is a good deal bigger than her. Momo lets Lulu sniff her, but whenever Momo tries to sniff her Lulu freaks out. Momo does kinda antagonize her, but I know she’s just trying to play. They keep fighting over Momo wanting to sniff her (Lulu starts it), and they’ve fought over toys a couple times (only when playing fetch).
Any tips to help Lulu be more comfortable around Momo? Right now they’re mostly coexisting, but having pretty bad fights. They’re okay with being in the same room together and walking next to each other (even laying down close together), but as soon as momo pushes her personal space they get into a fight. We’ve only been here since Wednesday night, so i’m hoping they’re just trying to get used to each other still. I just hate seeing my baby get her ass beat.
Also want to add: Lulu loves me. she loves being around me and getting scratched. Momo doesn’t really care about attention like that, she’s very independent.

None of them have the same item, and all of them had their moves formatted. I tried switching out the Sylvan for a caught-in-game Iron Hands, but I had the same problem. Nearly all of them are Hyper-Trained from prior games. I'm looking to leave the RAF in the next 1-3 years (currently 34yo), having spent most of my career as an air traffic controller and flight safety officer. Unfortunately the majority of my qualifications are tied to the military and I don't have many useful qualifications in line with job adverts I'm seeing, and I'm not desperate to go into civil aviation anyway.
I started doing some cybecoding courses as it interests me, but given the amount of layoffs in that sector, I can't see there being a great demand for someone with limited coding skills when demand is low.
I've got learning credits available for more courses (thinking something like project management) but looking to tailor them towards a future career. I'm not massively bothered in the industry I work in, just looking for a stable desk job that pays 55k upwards that I can build a pension in. I'm also ideally looking to be based in/near Bristol/Shropshire/Manchester areas (just regions I like and having international airports nearby is a plus), and I'm definitely not interested in London.
I'm looking for advice on industries that are likely to provide a safe/solid career, maybe something tondo with space/technology/environment. I have a BSc in Geography, plenty of management experience and worked in civilian flight operations before joining the RAF.

I'm looking for advice on industries that are likely to provide a safe/solid career, maybe something tondo with space/technology/environment. I have a BSc in Geography, plenty of management experience and worked in civilian flight operations before joining the RAF.

Yesterday I had a serious argument with my partner and I really don’t know who to ask for another perspective.
Basically I’m prescribed 40mg of Elvanse. My psychiatrist gave me 4 extra 40mg pills for days 25-28 of my cycle because it doesn’t work at all during this time unless I have a large dose.
So yesterday I started the day with a Starbucks. I wasn’t expecting to have much work to do so I wasn’t going to take my Elvanse. My team mate became ill and took the day off, leaving me with a lot of work. I ended up taking my 80mg of Vyvanse as it’s day 27 of my cycle.
At around 2pm I felt it wearing off and I became really sleepy, so I went and picked up another Starbucks at lunch.
I then had a meeting with my boss and ended up getting a promotion and large bonus which I was not expecting at all! I was so happy. So was my partner, he went and got a bottle of champagne and some chocolates to celebrate.
Once I was done work we had a few glasses of champagne to celebrate. I’m not sure how it came up but I mentioned to him that I took my medication today. His mood totally changed after this (I think he wouldn’t have got the champagne if he knew this) but I thought maybe I was imagining things. I went to the kitchen to get us another glass of champagne and he just flipped at me once I came back in.
He said that he had done some ‘calculations’ and I had taken 80mg Elvanse, 336mg caffeine and had 6.3 units of alcohol. Yes he was literally this precise. When I was in the kitchen he checked up the exact amount of caffeine in my Starbucks order and the exact units based on the champagne we had bought. He said that was super abnormal to do on a Thursday night and that I was in ‘dangerous territory’. I was so embarrassed I ended up crying and going to bed. I don’t want to take my medication anymore because it makes me feel dirty or something?
Anyway, I just need others opinions. Is this really abnormal? Did I go too far on a weekday?

I've been contributing to a pension since I was 26 and am 38 now. I maintain an interest in investing, however I only poke and prod around at a novice level at best. In addition to my pension, I've been contributing to an IRA and brokerage account since I started working full time at the age of 26. I started out with a measly $50 dollars a month and am now up to about $600/month.
I have invested nearly EVERYTHING into ETFs. I fully understand a little bit of knowledge is dangerous and that all my eggs are in one basket. Combine this with the fact that I've started to amass a nice little sum, and I'm really leaning toward having some type of proper fund management company to handle my investments from here on out. I should not here that the ETFs have performed incredibly in the 12 years I've been in them.
So, I signed up for a 457(B) plan at work and figured I'd just do my own little test and see which one is performing better. After about a year of monitoring I'm seeing my ETF rate of returns (.04% expense ratio) are completely crushing the rate of return on my properly managed account (expense ratio 1-2%.... can't remember).
My question: Does it make sense to leave what has worked for me for the past 12 years to go to a properly managed account even if the rate of return is lower, just because it seems safer and seems like what I'm supposed to do?
I have no plans to retire soon, I'm still 15-20 years away from that.

To be clear, I understand and respect that the pandemic was and is a huge shock in a lot of ways. It’s STILL difficult now.
However, nothing (aside from all the global/immediate issues of COVID) really changed about my life during the lockdowns.
I have spent most of life largely alone. I had only one friend that I ever really spoke with or saw in person at the time, and I am so conditioned to just not have anyone present for me/to not form deep attachment that I barely even notice when someone is gone. Don’t talk to my family. Was already living holed up in a single room for years. Was already deeply conditioned to existing in internal and external chaos to the point where I am genuinely uncomfortable and suspicious when things are going “good” because my entire system is wired to persist in drama/lack of safety.
If anything lockdown was a relief because I could finally navigate the world without being constantly terrified due to being surrounded by people. Going to store and not seeing anyone but the cashier was my Disneyland.
And so it was interesting to read articles in which people admitted that they were so unable to handle even 2 weeks of no physical contact that they would rather risk killing someone, or themselves, just to be near them in person. It was fascinating to see how many people were instantly destroyed by the jarring reality of having to be alone, let alone existing alone in the midst of intense life crisis.
It’s just so weird how we have to navigate this life surrounded by people who really never have to do inner work or develop empathy/compassion because it’s simply not asked of them. It’s ridiculous how they can casually dismiss that struggling like this, with your mental health in shambles, while not having a solid support system is incredibly fucking debilitating. Yet they demand so much grace for themselves when they experienced it.
It’s hard to make space for them talking about how they feel like they’ve forgotten how to socialize, when they’ve felt so comfortable with looking at someone with horrific social anxiety and telling them to “just get out there” or some version of “you need to get over it.” How they need to rest, meanwhile all this time that many of us have struggled to hold down any kind of job and who have needed rest for so long were told how we’re lazy and weak.
The saddest part of all though is how many of them have and will continue to just… forget all of it. “Back to normal” is all they crave, and they will suppress that this ever happened. Oh right, most of us here know alllllll about how debilitating that is too. Like watching them sit on the lid of a pressure cooker and think that will be enough to stop it from one day boiling over… they haven’t learned anything. They still insist that you need to just get over it and move on.
