Thinking about my wife here. Anyone had the experience of having a negative Nancy in their life and it all comes to a sudden ending in one way or another. My wife has seen first hand experience of a person's life changing from almost homeless to living a life of dreams. Mine!!! Thank you Father. But she doesn't realize it's keeping a positive attitude, being thankful, and truly believing that has gotten me here. Thank you Father. She's in constant worry about things that don't matter, about her car being damaged, about our house falling apart. And all those things come to pass in one way or another. Occasionally, she lets her hair down and has a drink, turns on some music, or something fun. But I pray mostly to see her in those ways. Then in minutes, something is left undone in her world and it's panic time. She gets sickly at times. Asthma, beaten cancer twice, gall bladder removal, throws up food more often than not.

2023.06.02 21:57 hm1402 Books around self esteem and confidence/ being ok with being alone/ self reliance.
So, I’m moving abroad soon and know I can get anxious around being liked when first meeting people despite being outgoing in the moment. I have a good set of friends at home but I won’t have that support system abroad; I know I will worry a lot over being liked and if I pass as ‘friendship material’ to people in the first instances of making those connections. I don’t want to feel needy with the people I view as a friend/like by hoping and worrying it is reciprocated. This of course will be harder when all my other friends are miles away. I want to build more resilience around my worrying about this and feel more secure in myself instead of diving into these worrying loopholes about if people like me and thinking of tiny things I did that then in my head mean I’m not likeable. Does anyone have any books that would be helpful for this kind of thing? I guess it comes under self reliance, social resilience, self esteem type stuff. Thank you.

I’m so tired of living and feeling depressed. I honestly just want to give up on everything me. I have bpd, bipolar 2, ocd, ptsd,adhd,autism, and social anxiety. I’m tired of this fight. I’m tired of going through severe periods followed by hpomania for four days then straight back to crippling depression. The fear of abandonment is too much and bothersome that I act in self destructive ways. I would just rather not be dealing with this anymore. I feel sometimes like I’ve hit rock bottom. The truth is that I am on meds and in therapy but I’m still struggling a ton. Why should I even care anymore?

I am a FTM and my little one decided to make her appearance 3 weeks early meaning I have less time to make the hardest decision I have ever had to make.
Do I be a stay at home mom for awhile, or do I try and go back to work full time?
I want to be home to take care of our daughter, because frankly, I don’t trust a daycare or babysitter to watch her until she is able to talk, and even then, I still don’t know that I would trust anyone I don’t know with her. It makes sense for us for me to stay home right now, but I also like having my own income & not having to live paycheck to paycheck worrying about which of my bills I can pay out of each paycheck when I get paid throughout the month. I’m so torn because I just took a promotion in August and went from being an hourly employee, to salary and received a decent pay raise with the new position. Even though my fiancé works from home and makes a decent amount of money, we looked into daycare for our daughter, and we wouldn’t be able to afford it. Seriously, $200-$250/day for newborns in our area…a month of daycare is more than double our monthly mortgage payment! We also have 2 dogs, one of which has to be on a leash with one of us constantly or in a room by herself or with one of us with the door or baby gate closed, so leaving my fiancé home to balance our newborn, our dogs, and working full time with meetings and calls off and on all day isn’t an option. We also have no family nearby, so having someone in our family help with babysitting isn’t an option.
The other side of it is, I get cabin fever being home all the time and even though I would be busy caring for our daughter and my dog, I feel like I wouldn’t be doing my part as a mother, or partner if I am not providing financially. I am also worried about having a gap in my employment and getting a job when I decide to go back to work if I end up staying home for awhile. The last thing I am worried about is insurance. My health, dental and vision insurance is through my place of employment since we are not married, and I refuse to not have insurance. Any advice?

I was skeptical when I heard they were doing maintenance on the gallery. And I just tried it out again today, and I'm wondering if other people are encountering the same issues that I am.
When I search for a creator or a specific lot by name, in many cases, neither come up, and these are creators & lots I have written down by name, so I know I am spelling them correctly. Then, on the rare occasion that a creator actually does pop up, if I go to their profile, they gallery is just showing the same lots over and over again, multiple times. It loads about 30 over and over again, and that's it. It doesn't matter if I change from most downloaded to newest, it's the same lots over and over again, and I know these creators have far more than that. Searching for specific rooms is even more painful than searching for lots & sims. The rooms that pop up have absolutely nothing to do with what I have searched for.
Because it's EA, I guess I should be impressed that they didn't accidentally nuke the entire gallery, causing everyone to lose their creations, but whatever they did seems to have changed it so that the searching algorithm is even worse. So, is this just a "me problem" or are other people encountering this, as well?

Let's say one or more of them get triggered will they respond differently to a Frank Castle that isn't in the studio? Will Myron be more or less willing to Frank Castle because this is a live show put on by Valuetainment?.
What Myron will we get? Stoic but stern Myron who only puts his foot down when necessary. Savage Myron who is aggressive with the women from the start. Or fun Myron that just cracks jokes on the women as opposed to debating back and forth with them for an hour.

2023.06.02 21:55 wellwtfisthisagain 09 Kia Sorrento ac discharge hose replacement?
 | Heard this start dragging one day going about 10mph. Pulled over, rigged it up with what I had in the car & drove to the nearest mechanic. Mechanic said all hoses looked good and nothing was damaged, but since it was almost 6pm they said to come back in the am and they’d put it back in place. Brought it back, asked if they would be able to recharge my ac system since it’s been running a little less cool than normal & the pressure was slightly low. Explained I bought a $90 can of refrigerant last week but felt better having a professional do it, if they could use what I bought cool, if not no big deal. Picked my car up, total was like $110, I was shooketh. Expected at least $250-$350. I asked what all they did because the cost is much less than expected. Front desk guy said they put my condenser back and recharged my ac system & the mechanic didn’t charge for the ac recharge since he had everything on hand…..seemed a bit odd, but it was 1min before closing and I tipped them 90$ and gave an extended thank you. Had a friend bring me back up to the shop after hours to pick up my car. Turn my ac on down the road a ways and it blows hotter than the devils breath. Call mechanic in the am. Said they put dye in it to find a leak, bring it back and they’ll fix it. Got a call later saying there’s a huge leak/hole on the hose that comes off the compressor to the condenser, that the hole is on the crimped part to the condenser. Will cost about $540. I asked what parts they are having to replace and the mechanic explained the hose is connected by metal crimping and that’s where the hole is. I was driving so I said thanks and I appreciated it. Is this a little fishy? I feel like they jacked up putting the condenser back in & now I’m having to pay for their mistake? am I flat out wrong? Haven’t said anything about it yet simply because I don’t know Jack about this. Any education/insight would be appreciated. 2023.06.02 21:55 Plus-Prune1160 Epic doesn't care about their playerbase at all.
Epic games consistently adds things to screw over casual players and even pros. first just this season they add the mythic pump. which was horrible for doing 250 max headshots, so they nerfed it of course.... to 210 instead! which literally only helps people who play zero build and anyone else well they just have to deal with it. you could do so well in a game and have like 20 kills and no matter how good you are your whole game could be ended by 1 shot from a pump from someone who just got the game. especially in ranked playlists. and then they add the collabs, which alone most of the collabs are fun, but why add them for the entire season? it just doesn't feel like fortnite at all when theres people with lightsabers and ODM gear flying around blowing things up with thunder spears the whole season. Dont even get me started on Ranked either, I get that its just the start of ranked and epic are still tweaking it but who thought it was a good idea to add lightsabers and odm gear into ranked? i get that they're trying to cater to the more casual players but most casual players do NOT want to have boulders being thrown at their face while trying to climb the ranks. having collab mythics in ranked is plain annoying. ranked should be about skill, and not cheesing your way to victory. and the icing on the cake is, unless the content creators say anything about it, these things dont get changed, and why? because epic just wants more and more money.

Anyone else finding MBS (and by extension of that, the newest page format update) absolute shite and three steps back from how we used to manage pages?
The amount of times I have to post, repost, delete because erroneously posted, delete because not posted publicly (despite setting it to public) and manually post because scheduling is whack is absolutely ridiculous. The actual MBS UI is dog's breakfast, so clunky, and I don't find it user friendly at all. Having to direct off the site completely just to edit or delete posts? Why?? Just let me delete it directly from my page! Want to keep using photo albums for your business? No chance, now the links to them no longer work and we've effectively hidden the photo/videos tab behind a lot of irrelevant and uncustomisable chaff because pages are now more like personal profiles. Why is it asking me to list hobbies? It's a business, as a business it does not have 'hobbies'. As well as various other useless options, like family and relationships for a business?? How does that work exactly? I seriously think they've prioritised 'influencer' format pages over actual businesses.
Feel free to add any other issues below, I'm beyond frustrated and would appreciate knowing I'm not the only one..

Prior to my laser hair sessions, I’m always asked a series of medical questions by my nurses. These questions are almost always non-gender specific. But the other day, I had a new laser hair nurse who I had never met before and she asked me a question I was surprised to hear. “Are you pregnant or breastfeeding?” I chuckled at first because I thought she was joking, but then I was hit by the stunning realization that she thinks I’m a cis woman. I’ve been on HRT for nearly 1.5 years and I mostly pass both appearance and voice-wise, so she genuinely asked that question for medical reasons. I didn’t bother telling her that I’m trans and just said “no” while I was chuckling. It was my first time ever being asked I’m pregnant or breastfeeding, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it for the rest of the day!
Another day, I was cashiering and I had a discussion with a customer about family and having kids. At one point, she asked me if I was a mom, and similarly, I giggled at first because I thought she was joking, but I realized she was being serious. I told her “no, I’m only 21 and it’s really expensive to have kids nowadays” and she understood it since we live in a HCOL area.
One final cute story, one day I was walking through my workplace and a young kid sitting in his stroller screamed out “mom!” as I was walking up the aisle towards him to get to the breakroom. I was the only other person in the aisle besides his dad, so I quickly realized he thought I was his mom! I was both laughing and blushing so hard, and apparently I’m already old enough to look like a mom when I’m only 21? Lol

I recently became the owner of a large piece of property, about 20 acres, with a small house (~1200 sq ft) 3bd/1ba and standalone 2 car garage. Everything is pretty dilapidated and I see problems everywhere but has "pretty good bones" my family has said. The roof is in disrepair. It's bedrooms are tiny and the layout of everything is questionable. I have some money (20k) to start working on it but I don't know where I should start. I want to fully rehabilitate as well as build new additions to make the house livable for my family of 6 (wife and 4 kids). I know I want to go the correct route and hire professionals but I don't know who to start the process with? The property is paid off and free from any burden so I plan on securing 150-200k for the project eventually but do I need plans first and cost estimates from a GC? Does anyone feel like mentoring me through this as a first timer?
